Moi...Lolita cut off?

WARNING!! horrible horrible quality. and the performace was cut off less than 3 minutes into it. The host walks out and interupts her right in the middle of the song. what's that about? According to pyramiddj1 on Youtube, this was in Poland 8-22-01

It's a VHS-rip so the quality is poor. There is a 'cleaned' version available in which the annoying grain at the bottom of the screen is removed and the sound of the tape is replaced. But this one is also cut-off at the moment when the TV-host walks on stage.

meh, hard to tell, she gets stopped pretty abruptly, or it could just be that Alizée is such a wonderful performer that she wouldn't slack off in her song, even if there's not enough time for the full thing

It's just too hard to tell without the rest of the vid. There may have been some miscomminication (language barrier:confused: ) between Alizee's people and the show's people regarding the timeframe of the show or other production issues. Like I said, it's just too hard to tell without the rest of the vid and knowing more of the behind the scenes production information. Though part of me wonders if someone on the show suddenly thought that "Lolita" wasn't a suitable subject matter for the show and was like "Oh, crap!" I have absolutely no eveidence for this whatsoever, but it was a thought that occured.

The rest of the video's available, and as you can see in that they don't cut to commercial or anything, but go right into an interview on the spot. So pretty clearly planned. Also any way you split it you can't blame the hostess, cause they start fading the music well before she steps out.
