I've been really enjoying myself by downloading other music videos (clips and live performances) over the last few months. I've put on 3 virtual concerts (Alizee En Concert, Jenifer - Fait Son Live, "Les Enfoires 2002") along with showing numerous Alizee videos and other French videos at the a local French restaurant. I've also put on virtual shows in my neighborhood. I use a projector, a set of Bose speakers, and a laptop to show the concerts. Although the projector will project super sharp videos (depends on the video's clearity itself) at about 22 feet wide, I only project the videos at about 12 feet (due to screen size.) I have a lot of fun doing this.
Next, I'm always visiting with friends. My girlfriend is getting tired of my Alizee experience but is very understanding and realizes that it is something that I just have to work through. It's been 16.5 months now and I can finally say that grip that Alizee has over me is starting to fade, thank god! Boy, when Alizee gets her hooks into you she doesn't want to let go! The greatest joy (loving her) and the greatest sadness (knowing you will never get to hold her in your arms.)
It's uncanny but with everything I read (here and elsewhere) it seems a though we all (the big fans of Alizee) go through the same set of feelings toward her. Numerous times I've read people's posts or private e-mails to me saying something like, "I thought it was just me that felt this way about her, boy I'm I glad to find out that I'm not the only one. I thought something was wrong with me." But they soon realize that Alizee is unique in the world and affects many men in a way which very few other women can. You big fans out there know exactly what I'm talking about and you new fans will eventually find out. But I will always be a big fan of hers, she has been a very big part of my life for a very long time. You just can let something like that go.
I always like downloading the latest Warez from UseNet and checking them out. Guess it's just like being a kid in a candy store. There are all kinds of great programs out there that do all kinds of weird things you'de never think about to help make your life easier and your digital life more exciting. They're real neat and fun to discover.
I'm getting ready to move to Alaska (sometime in the future) but am taking the summer off so I can have a lot of fun. The French guys (Thibaud (pronounced, T-Bo) and Charles) that are visiting for the summer are also a lot of fun. I'm going to take them to the Hydroplane (boat) races on SeaFair Sunday in Seattle in early August.
I'm thinking about returning to France next year, in January, so I can attend the "Les Enfoires" benefit concert. I have the "Les Enfoires" DVDs from 2001-2006 and love them all. But if I can't make it in 2007, then probably in 2008.
Learning to sell on eBay should be a lot of fun. But to run a profitable and successful store correctly is no easy matter. Maybe I'll get into that stuff later.
I love summer driving while listening to my MP3s. I usually listen to Alizee, Jenifer, and other great French artists. I also listen to dance mixes and songs from the Dutch charts that I download. If I really like the artists then I go ahead and buy the CD to help support their work.
I like going to small cafes or small restaurants that I've never eaten in before. Sometimes I discover a real gem. That's how it happend when I discovered the new French restaurant in my area. Now, the owner and myself are very good friends and he keeps Alizee's picture on the wall and also plays her music.
I play around on the Internet like everyone else. I like to go to http://www.shortnews.com to read a quick blurb about what's going on around the world, and what's happening in the "HighTech" sector. It's a real great site to get the "quick & dirty" details without having to read pages and pages of text, like I'm making you do now. Sorry...
This probably sounds pretty boring to most of you but that's some of what I do... for now.
How about you others out there? I know some of you probably have some very interesting stories to tell. Go ahead, fill us in on all the nitty-gritty.

Don't just say, "I like soccer." Tell us about it. I'm wanting a novel.... Why do you like it? Which teams do you like and why? Who's your favorite player and why. etc... Seriously, I'm really interested and maybe others are also. It's always interesting to see what other Alizee fans are like and why they like the things they do. Although she has brought us all together, we must have other things in common besides Alizee.
If you have to, write your response in Microsoft Word and then "copy and paste" it here. But it's your post so you don't have to write anything you don't want to.
Hey... I like soccer too. Why? Because.................. (insert novel here) Sorry, couldn't help myself.

Last week I was driving my uncle's accord and listening to Alizée when at this red light a ricer pulls up next to me calling me a fag and some other things(probably cause of how her music sounds or something). I tell him to race me when the light turns green anyway I destroy him while blasting C'est trop tard it was awesome.O yeah he wouldn't look at me anymore but the girl his passenger did, she was ok
O snaps I just noticed that I am not a junior member no more

On the contrary... liking Alizee and her music makes you as far from a homosexual as you can get!!!!!! The Rice Burner obviously had other issues. People that I know say that if Alizee doesn't turn you on then YOU are definately... unequivocally... a homo with no hope for redemption! I couldn't agree more. One quick showing of the France Gall edition of "J'en ai Marre" seems to settle that argument once and for all. And believe me, I know....

I certainly don't obsess about anything like I do Alizee. I listen to music almost non-stop. My favourite bands are Kiss and Aerosmith. I play video games online frequently, but lately I've been on the Socom3.com forum far more than the game itself. I love soccer a lot. I play it and referee it, but I changed age groups this season so the season doesn't restart after the summer break like it normally would. A season is typically from April to July and then September and October, but it was just April through July this year. We had twice as many games per week, but it doesn't begin to make up for the lost time because the longer the season goes on the more I want to play.
On my computer, I spend all of my time on a couple of different forums and I love to look for things about Alizee on the internet. When I'm not actively reading or posting on a forum I'm generally on Photoshop making pictures. Right now, I have plans for a bunch of different backgrounds for my PSP and some more forum signatures. I used to make pictures of anything that came to mind but for the last few weeks only one thing has come to mind every time that I opened Photoshop and that's Alizee.
I like to read whenever I can. My prefered genre is fantasy but I like Max Barry since he's really funny (maxbarry.com).
I don't know if the video is particularly appropriate, but it's here (http://www.thatvideosite.com/view/1771.html) for anyone who wants to see it. There aren't any naughty parts shown.

I may be bring up an old thread but my intrests this summer are foucsed on my computer and 360.
Call me a nerd, but I love an a game called International Politics 2, the url is http://www.rushyo.com/iptwo/loginform.php.
In IP2 you are in charge of your own nation in a certain region of the world. You create your own nation, there's even a newspaper on the game!
Apart from IP2, I play another text based game (IP2 isn't a text based game in my opinion it has some of the most additive gameplay) called Nukezone.
I am also on four different forum sites that I like.
I am hooked on to a game called a Oblivion I have over 130 hours on that game and I've had since March. Anyone else here have xbox live? I'm in an xbox live clan that does clan battles against other clans, in GRAW (Ghost Recon Adavanced Warfighter), Battlefield 2 Modern Combat, Halo 2 and Call of Duty 2 for the 360.
I also love to read during the school year. I think I only read two books this summer and I only have less then a week before school:(
As you can see by my name and by my sig, I love to study histroy. Esp the 20th century. I love studying World War 2, and the Cold War. A watch very little tv, but when I do it either the histroy channel or the military channel. I also enjoy building models, mostly planes.
So thats what I like to do.

My turn, read if you want, I'm only trying to share.
To start with the basics, I'm 17, male, born and raised in southern California.
Life has been pretty tame this summer, I sort of broke all contact with my high school friends. I'm not much into the party-scene anymore, those nights always end in trouble. I don't consider my town in any way dangerous, and I'll be the first to admit that your group is "harder" than my group, but I've been around in shitty neighborhoods, and I've had the had the ever-so-pleasant experiance of having a gun looking me in the face, people just have different values of what's most important, pride and respect sound cliché, but that's the way some people live their lives, I've seen families pull weapons on one another beacuse nobody wants to back down. I've tried to let my friends know how much of their trouble is self-imposed, but after being in such a shitty environments for so many years, I'm over it. So yeah, I don't hang out with friends anymore.
My brother-in-law is a firefighter for one of the biggest cities on the west coast. I've been lucky enough to go on a few 24-hour shifts with him over the years. Being a firefighter has it's advantages, like the New Years day I got to see the Rose Parade floats up close and personal before the parade because we were "checking the building for safety hazards", or the time we made some little boy's day just by letting him wear a hemlet and take a picture in the truck; but another time we had to wake up at 3:00 A.M. to clear out some lady's rain-gutter, because it caused her roof to leak, which could start an electrical fire with all the lights and stuff and you have to answer every call anyway for liability reasons and stuff. When he worked as the medic, I got to see some sick parts of human natue, but the good things are what I remember and outshine anything. I've seen a few DB's, some gnarly stab wounds, highway accidents, peoples inside organs on the outside, but I also got to see someone's heart come back to life after the patient was actually announced dead. I didn't think I had the stomach for this sort of thing, but when you're around someone who NEEDS help, and you CAN help, all the icky squishy details don't seem to matter. Strangely, on my first visit, we only had one call having to do with fire, it was somebody's stove, and it was out before we even got there. Before I got my first BIG fire call, I never really grasped the concept of how insane it is to willingly drop your entire life and run into a situation that you might not come back from in order to MAYBE find someone inside that you can help, until I saw the father of my sister's kids leave the truck without hesitation.
There is nowhere else I'd rather be than So. Cal., the ability to pick up and go to the beach for no reason is something I've been spoiled with. I've never been on a surf board because a lot of our surfers are Laguna Beach poser-douche bags, body surfing is where it's at :D. Something I've only done once has caused me to get back in shape so I can try it again, is swimming way-out in the ocean. A lot of triathalon trainees and old navy seal guys often go out about a quarter of a mile offshore, past the breakers, and just swim from pier to pier all day long. I had the guts to go out there one time with my dad. It's a crazy test of willpower because you are so alone, and there is nowhere to rest if your muscles give out.
California is so great, I'm even happy to be stuck in traffic at times because I can just think "This is my home, and all these crazy mexicans live here too, I'm among my big happy Californian family!".
The only TV I've watched lately has been on the Science Channel. It has some trippy things to learn if you take the time to soak it all in. One night my brother and I got really deep into the light spectrum, we stayed up until sunrise debating what color a yellow banana is. There are so many parts to the universe we don't even know how to understand. Some theories involve concepts the human mind can't handle, infinity for one. Human existance is so minor it can get you down at times, many equations show life as a fluke, but strangely, it makes me really religious. If the universe is a giant machine backed by reason and purpose, than what purpose does it serve if life is not around to obvserve it?
Of course, I'm big on video games, have been all my life. This coming fall, Game Simulation Design should be my major in college. I figure I'll need something to do after high school and what better way to spend my time.
I am hooked on to a game called a Oblivion I have over 130 hours on that game and I've had since March.
Same here :D , it gave me an excuse to get a new pc. That game and Alizée is a terrible combo to your social life, plus it makes every day kind of fuzz together.
As you can see by my name and by my sig, I love to study histroy. Esp the 20th century. I love studying World War 2, and the Cold War. A watch very little tv, but when I do it either the histroy channel or the military channel. I also enjoy building models, mostly planes.
So thats what I like to do.
WWII history is good stuff, there are a few good air museums around here that I've been to, and my grandpa actually landed on Omaha. Corsica had some heavy action in WWII, so I actually knew a bit about it before I knew about Alizée. I love playing games or reading the first-hand stories from around then, school never explains the mindset people had.
P.S. that 3rd army buisness was genious, good work on that!
Anyone ever played paintball? I'm tired of typing, but ask and I shall tell.
Nothing in my life has grabbed my attention as strongly as Alizée, even if it is a phase and I grow out of it, for better of worse, she has already made an impact on who I am. She gets a BIG part in this.
OMG  that's huge!!! well, somebody wanted a novel, didn't they?

Obilivion and Alizee are a terrible combo to your social life! I never been to the school dances too busy playing obilivion!
haha well before i wrote a top 5, now i have time to write a novel longer than a steven king novel =)
14 years old male born and still near chicago.
I've been livin the party life this summer with breaks for adrenaline rushes. ive been to countless parties this summer and had a lot of fun.
i went on an 8 day white water guide training camp, and a 2 week trip to several places in colorado and utah, where i went mountain biking in several good places, crested butte, moad, fruita, steamboat, park city... with a 2 day white water trip on the colorado river thrown in the mix. i only fell twice off my specialized stumpjumper, never really got injured, but i did flip in my ducky( rubber inflatable kayak ).
i also dont watch much tv, if it is its only usually the colbert report or the daily show, i do play my 360 with friends, when they are over ( unless im partying i have em over every day anyway )
my family is pretty cool, i have 2 sisters, one works for google( btw the rumors are true, its AWSOME there) and one who has spina bifida, and is parapalegic, and my dad is a lawyer, my mom just a cool mom that doesnt care what i do unless i get arrested =)
im very happy that i live where i live, a 30 min trip to downtown chicago on the "L" and i live a block and a half from lake michigan, and i have a pool in my backyard the weather in chicago isnt always great but i can live with it =)
i found out about alizee about 2 months ago while lookign through google video one day when i came upon alizée right after that is when i had to leave on my 2 week trip. i got back and kind of held it in until finally about a week and a half ago i joined this site
i still have more to write but im too lazy now, but if you ever want to go on a white water rafting trip ( they are really fun ) ask me i might be able to direct you to what you want to do
