i was watching Alizee's "Parler Tout Bas" performance and on the top left it said TV5. it sounded familiar and i noticed that its one of my comcast channels. unfortunately we didn't subscribe to that channel but it was still cool that she was on a tv station that i happen to have. lol
i was wondering (to anyone who has TV5), do they ever show performances of French singers from Alizee's time period? because i might consider getting it if they still show her.

Yeah, TV5 Monde is shown all around world. In France, it's simply called TV5 (also known as TV5 Monde France). It's channel that combines "most interesting" bits from French TV channels. Shows programs from channels 1 to 4.

Just to make things little more complicated... There's several different TV5 Monde channels. One for France, one for (rest of the) Europe, one for Canada, one for Asia, and so on... All these channels has slightly different program schedule.

And yeah, TV5 Monde has shown Alizée's performances. There is atleast on captured video currently in circulation (PTB in TV5 Monde. Also, same PTB performance was originally shown on TV5, which capture exists, too).

Currently is very small chances to see her on it. They don't normally rebroadcast old programs. Just new episodes from last week or so, shown on other main channels in France. But if Lili appears out of nothing soon, you'd be able to see her there maybe. I have watched Jérémy's interview for example, and Melissa Mars and Pascal Obispo has been on it (performances and interviews). Also Natasha had interview on it. The main programs to see artists are Acoustique (or something like that... how do you spell it..) and Tout le monde en parle.

ah ic. well ill probably wait until Alizee's comeback to look into subscribing to the channel then. but i wouldnt mind seeing jeremy/natasha/pascal on there, thatd be quite interesting. i dont know melissa mars though.

does anyone know if she has been shown in any tv programs here in the US, or atleast had her name mentioned in one?
i remember back in an old thread, someone said that her name was mentioned in a sports show (i think jim rome).

wow i cant believe i didnt know about that site. great place for videos. finally its time for my computer to start getting filled with Alizee videos.
and i just looked at the members on that site and it looks like its averaging around 3-5 new members a day, not bad and definently good for Alizee. the more fans, the more chances her 3rd album will be a success

Just an FYI for us Americans, one of the bigger carriers of TV5 Monde for us is Dish Network. So if you're thinking of switching to satellite, give them a look. They also carry TraceTV, a French music videos channel (DirectTV's French offerings are much slimmer).

i have the Dish Network along with the DVR that it comes with. i'll look into it more and maybe record some Alizee performances ;)

TV5 was where I first saw Alizee and I really like that channel shows french movies and news well.
