SECTION 1 - PRESENT TENSE VERBS

Review Module 2 - Sections 4-6

Here is a comprehensive question set reviewing everything in sections 4-6, and I have also included some questions that ask you to go to the dictionary to find out new vocabulary. This exam also contains questions combining sections 1-6! Language knowledge is of course, cumulative, and I have to express that to you all here. There are 5 less questions than last time, because you all requested a bit shorter reviews. Have fun and bon courage :) ! NB: All unconjugated verbs in this question set need to be conjugated as necessary.

1. Please translate into French: A human has ten fingers, 5 on each hand.
2. Please translate into French: We order two hundred freight containers, each containing (chacun contenant) 4 cars.
3. Please translate into French: Raise your fingers!
4. Please translate into French: Shake Alizée's hand! (Serrer ______ d'_______ ).
5. Please translate into French: Don't give me seven pears instead of (à la place de) five grapefruits! (pronoun of your choice)
6. Please translate into French: I have 25 (write number out please) baguettes for sale (à _____).
7. Please translate into French: Give me some Nutella (pronoun of your choice)! I need to make (devoir faire, conjugate the verb as necessary) a sandwich for Alizée.
8. Please translate into French: I am washing my hair. Please give me my hairbrush and conditioner (please have a look in the dictionary here :)).
9. Please translate into French: Do not ever smoke (ever is jamais; follow same construction as the negative imperative, replacing pas with jamais). Smoking is very bad (mal) for you.
10. Please translate into French: He is cutting his fingernails and his hair.
11. Please translate into French: She is washing my hair.
12. Please translate into French: Buy some radishes, strawberries, turnips, and colander (dictionary please) at the supermarket (supermarché) !
13. Please translate into French: I don't have enough (assez) fish to make (pour faire) this bouillabaisse.
14. Please translate into French: Take this (ce) microphone! Use a pronoun of your choice.

45. Please translate into French: I am washing my hands. Next, I will cut the vegetables, and I need a hand (coup de main). Don't cut too fast, be careful (use soyez for be).
