It's pretty nice. Some more practice with shading and you get rid off of those black outlines. :)

The image chosen couldn't be better. ACC forever !

The dark outer edges that separates her arm from face, or arm from background, or face/ear from hair. That's what I mean.

If you look the original photo, you won't see such dark edges.

It's common way to draw of course, and nothing wrong with that. But with shading you can avoid drawing those outlines. It will become then more photograph like, where the shapes are distinguished by shades and not hard outlines. It's more real that way. :)

You have used the shading in other places like her cheek and nose, and there it works very nicely. You only need to take it little further to get rid off of those outlines altogether. You are on right track already. :)

Of course, it's not necessary to be done like said. Since it is one drawing style to leave them there.

I dont draw like that... ever. If I want it to look like a photo, then i would photoshop it. Most of the time i use pen to accent the lines for deeper deffinition, however this time i didn't have a sharpie around.:D

Well, obviously I didn't meant they should be just like photo. It was just way to explain what kinda look that shading will bring.

Do you draw with photoshop, too, or why the photoshop reference ? Can you show some drawings ?

I myself like more the more realistic way of drawing. Where the shapes are bring into live with shadings instead of lines. Style that you might see from Arjun, Klsadako or Neotony. Altho, like said, there's nothing wrong in this more line based drawing style, too. And you can mix them too, like you have done. All the drawings really are wonderful.

Very interestinf mods in photoshop, c-dawg... I'm no sure if I've seen that done. I really like the color correction, esp. in bringing the color of her classic blue dress so much closer to the original. The only part that looks a little funny to me is the coloration of the blushing in her right cheack (our left)... the saturation there just seems too intense.

Something has come to my attention recently, but I thought it would be fun to ask first... what is wrong with the first picture, but is right in the second, but would look more like the first if it were done right, on the second picture...;) Now if you can understand that, props to you because i barely understand it myself, aren't riddles fun?

No help RMJ... I've already told you.

The original picture is missing a seam in the dress which has been replaced in the editted picture.

True... But there's also another error !

(well, it's not so much of a error but still it differs greatly from the original...)
