I´m from Finland (in northern Europe).

She wasn´t very famous here either back then. It was just co-incident that I happened to hear her album at my friend´s place. I guess ML was played in radio time to time but I don´t listen to radio so I never heard it. And she has never been in Finnish television ( maybe one exception is WMA 2002. But even that I'm not sure about since I didn´t watch it that year, so I don´t know if her performance was showed ).

And I know Americans who has heard of her before me. :wink: So it´s not impossible even for American to be fan from the early years. :)

I guess first time I saw Alizée's pic in 2006 or maybe late 2005. I saw those on some kind of wrapper used for wool that my mom would buy from the local market here. Sometimes I wondered who she is, but didn't care much. I'm not sure about what year was that. Only thing I can recall is that it was winter then( I mentioned about wool).
