Well, since we sort of digress in the other forum (http://moi-alizee.us/forums/showthread.php?t=253&page=14) into talking about Alizée's & JC's pets (Topaze and Punkie). Show us your family pet(s)! :)

This is Chrissy, a toy puddle mix:
http://img161.imageshack.us/img161/5152/chrissy1pd4.jpg

Sadly, we lost her Summer '06. (Some stupid kid was in a hurry and turned into the street before my father and Chrissy could finish crossing it and ran into her with his car. Fortunately it wasn't both of them. Damn kid. )

I so miss her. :( Whenever I stayed over night at my parent's house, she would jump up to the foot of my bed and sleep there. She always enjoyed tearing up those empty paper towel cardboard rolls, so every Christmas I'd get her some doggy treats and up them in a cardboard roll as a gift. She paid more attention to chewing up the cardboard roll than the treats. LOL.

Aw I'm so sorry about Chrissy :(. That's really dumb, I'm just glad your father wasn't hurt, but wow usually when dogs get hit, it's when they are alone, not being walked by a person. Damn kid :(.

Sir Wood, I feel you man.......... I lost my buddy a couple of years ago. The thing is that I saw him get hit, and I felt it too. Even though the truck that hit him took off, I was glad they did afterwards, because I don't know what I would have done. I'm not a violent person by nature, but I was very distressed at the time....... Hard to explain, but I lost a piece of me that day. :(

His name was 'Nino' and he was 7 years when he got hit (6 months in this picture)

Necro Posting is fun for all!!

Anyway, I have a Maltese. I'm away for two months and haven't seen him and I'm surprised at how much I miss him. He makes me feel happy in the same way Alizée does.

His name's Oscar and he's three years old. The first picture is the first day we got him, and the second is one day when he was tired so I put him in my sister's bed. I laughed so hard when he got underneath the covers.

This is the only picture I have of my bunny rabbit Patchoulie.
About a week ago she got sick, and she had to be put down.
She was with me three years.

Ever since I was tiny, I told my parents that when I grew older
I wanted a black cat with white paws, and I'd call him Dennis.
Guess what. ;)
He's been around for a good ten years now, but our neighbours
who moved here about a year ago, have a cat who is three times Dennis' size, and he's started beating him up.
Dennis got a bite that got infected and now he's on loads of medication.
I just hope it all heals up nicely.
I'm not sure if I could take loosing him aswell.

Now, since we've started spraying water on him every time he comes in to our garden, his personality has changed.
A lot.

Nikita

Well no, they don't.
It was my mothers idea though.
Every time gangstercat Misty comes in to our yard he starts fighting with Dennis, and then scares him off for a few days.
As Dennis, for some reason, doesn't catch mice, when he feels safe enough to come home again, he's very, very thin.

So my mum has put spraythingies you use to water flowers with in strategic places round the house,
so everytime Misty comes around the yells to me to run and get him.

Not one of the kindest thing I do.

Not to make light of your situation, but I'm laughing inside picturing you running around the yard chasing a cat with a garden hose and your mother yelling "get him, get him!". :p

Well, here's my parents new addition to the family at the beginning of the year. The little scraper I might have mentioned before. His name is Alvin (my understanding is that the previous owner's daughter named him "Alvin" because it was during the same time that "Alvin and the Chipmunks" movie came out).

This thread hasn't been touched for over a year. Been waiting a long time to see anyone else w/ pets. I guess since there's no one, I can share my pets.

I name my pets after people or something that has to do with what they are so.

This really hasn't been a good year for my pets. Earlier this year I had a few more pets than I do now and together they were known as The Wild Pets. (and many more before that)
There was my cat Tiger, a 4-year old American Shorthair. The best (and only) I ever had. I had a strong bond w/ him.
Zilla, the Green Iguana. That dude was a crazy lil lizard.
Easter(named by my niece & nephew) the Netherlands rabbit. He was very palyful:) He was the oldest and a premium member of the Wild Pets.
Craw the Crayfish. Always snapped @ me for no reason.
Tuck & Shelly the Red-Eared Sliders (Turtles). Whoever said turtles were slow was wrong.
I don't want to go into what happend to them for now. Things just happen I guess and I'm not saying that they all died.

So my pets now just consists of:
Luigi(Originally intended to be Jérémy but I said nah) the green 4-year old Parakeet who's the most well trained bird I ever had. He was good friends w/ Tiger & Easter in which they grew up together.
Lili Mia(Originally intended to be Alizée:o), the blue Parakeet and Luigi's girl.

Pollo(Apollo w/out the "A" instead of chicken) is a Tangerine Ringneck Dove. He's very chill  and good friends w/ Luigi.
Rose the Ringneck Dove. She doesn't like me. Both of them recently had chicks which are now adults and I can't believe I still don't have names for them.

Dave & Krystal the Diamond Doves. These 2 always get into trouble so I nicknamed them Dangerous Dave & Krazy Kristi. I kinda think of 'em as the twins from TF2.
Swift, Finnie, & Dan the Zebra Danio(GloFish). Energetic lil fellas.

Anyone else? There's gotta be somebody new with pets. come on.

Here are my two kids. We have a cat colony behind my business so kittens are pretty plentiful. We tame them down and find homes for them. This way we keep the colony in check. Those that we can't tame down we trap them in a live trap. Then I take them to a local shelter that spays and neuters for $35. Once they are fixed we release them back into the colony.

These two I took in at about six months around Thanksgiving of 2007 with the plan of finding them a home. Well they soon became the businesses official pets. :)

The smaller short hair is Xena (The Warrior Princess) Someone named her Brutus when she was out side because she was the runt. Being feral Xena had to fight harder than any of the other cats to survive. She was too cute to keep the name Brutus so after bringing her in I renamed her Xena.

The larger long hair (laying on the floor) is the male named Fluffy. That was what everyone called him when he was hanging out in the alley behind work. So I just kept the name because he responds to it when called.

How bout some more, peeps.

I name all pets after famous people or things
First we have Samson (Biblical Strongman) and Raven (Like the American football team the Baltimore Ravens)
http://img502.imageshack.us/img502/7216/snapshot20090207.jpg
Sam is the one on the left and Raven is one the right. Sam is almost a year old I got her from a friend that found her, her mother and her siblings in an abandoned house. She was the runt of the litter although she's pretty big and bulky now. Raven is almost 2 I got her from another friend whose cat had kittens and I took her. She used to pick on Sam and beat her up and now Sam kicks her ass.

Now for my Dog Lacey (The singer from the band Flyleaf) she is a Beagle/Dachshund mix.
http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/3678/snapshot20091005.jpg
I adopted her from a shelter she was about a year old. Someone dropped her and her two sister at the doorstep of the vet and ran off. The vet payed for her shots and the money to get her fixed. I took her, my friend took her other sister, and the vets hot assistant took her other sister:cool:. I got her in March and soon after I had to put my other dog Sarah down as she had a brain tumor.

Spot (He already had a name or I would have named him Dimebag Darrel after the guitar player from Pantera) is a pure breed Dachshund
http://c3.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/83/l_c62441eae647a019d58c9a5b8d9c3a5a.jpg
I got him from my neighbor's sister where I used to live. She breeds Dachshunds he was like 10 when I got him so hes like 13ish now. But I gave him to my aunt as I was moving and he kept trying to hump my dog Sarah in the ear. Plus he was just SOO stupid her bit and extension cord once and got shocked and thrown across the room and then 5minutes later he did it again. Hes gotten really fit since I took that pic.

Axel (Named after the GnR singer Axel Rose mainly cause of the hair color)
http://c2.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/103/l_5244bedfd180ad9dde24d77a45efbea1.jpg
I got her from a petstore, shes a long haired Guinea Pig.

And last but not least Sarah
http://c3.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/11/l_e0dbc6541eadf69ceed6339fbe3e5606.jpg
She was an American Pittbull/Rottweiler mix. People say pittbulls are killers but I never owned a nicer dog the only thing she would hurt is a fly because she hated them. Her nose is all red and scabby in that pick cause she was allergic to the sun. I had her practically my entire life, she was like my sister. She's no longer with me as I had to put her down last April because of a brain tumor. I miss her everyday shes buried in my back yard. I planted roses above her grave. Now every time I see those roses I think of her. I could go on and on about all the times I spent with her but it would take up most of this thread.

Get an english mastiff.

Goodness gracious, that thing could swallow me whole.

I don't care for the loose jowls

wimminz, I lived with four english mastiffs for a good portion of my life, I'm kind of done with that dog

I actually think it's pretty cute. The only canine-type animal I'd ever get would be one of these guys:

Fennec Fox.

In the ideal world, I would have a Bengal tiger named Sebastian, a talking Silverback Gorilla named Archibald (with whom I will play chess and starcraft), a gigantic dog, and a peregrine falcon

So I still have Lili the parakeet with me. After the passing of Luigi, which was actually last Christmas, the new guy, Lou, became Lili's partner. I was sad to see Luigi go, after having him for years because he was the most well trained parakeet I've ever had.

Pollo is still here looking over his son and daughter, Cole and Rissie respectively.

Lizzie the Green Iggy takes up the role as the miscreant lizard. She is growing up quiclky and also becoming more mischievous by the second. I wish to give her a companion to occupy her time.

Grap is a new member by last year's standards. He's a Mississippi Map turtle with a bite to fear.

The Shrimp are still around although they are not the generation I introduced here.

Nishi the koi swims around the home lake. The Shrimp are not in this pond for obvious prey/predator reasons. He brings me luck in wet situations though his abilities is not limited to bringing such luck.

I still maintain Danio in a tank of their own along with a beta aptly named Beta and a Bamboo Shrimp named Bammie the Boo Shramp. They are separate from Nishi and the Shrimp.

Neko is a sweet kitty cat with a well thought-out name. She's a tabbie but my relationship with her is restricted as she likes someone else more than I.

As much as I would like a dog, I don't see me getting one this year. But seeing as this year is entering its final week, I'm thinking about getting moiself a husky, preferably Siberian of ancestry. I also see myself with a peafowl duo in the near future.
