How much HDD capacity does one need for all these Alizée videos and pictures? My current system is very limited, so I don't have any videos and the few pictures I have are ones I only use for playing around with sigs. I'm in the process of building a new system and wanted to make sure that I'm good to go. Thanks!

I have all of this site's videos, pretty much of of Moe's site's videos, a few others, and a bunch of pictures and for me it comes to about 32 gigs. That's a pretty good collection but I'm sure there is quite a lot more. RMJ is probably the man to ask.

I think I remember him saying he had a few hundred. 250 was it, RMJ? But you do need a lot if you want every video in HQ.

A 250gb or even a 500gb hdd if you can afford it. The price of a 500gb is about $130 to $150 depend on your location and type of the hdd.

you should probably get a 250gb hdd if you are building a new system. they are so cheap it just makes sense. but i would say every video out there (not counting duplicate versions and etc) would not be more that 150gb or so.

I have downloaded all videos I could find at the Alizée-hub and videos that were uploaded at Alizée-forum, mainly by Dandy. I have 110 GB in total, including several duplicate versions, fanmade DVDs (Merci Alizée, Une Fée Nommée etc.) and pictures.
If you store only one version of each video I think you won't need more than 60-70 GB.

50 to 70 GB is enough to have all videos and photos at highest quality.

I have few hundred gigabytes since I have all versions of them (x2 since they are all backed up). I have two main Alizée drives, both 250GB. The second is back up for the first one. And then I have couple smaller ones for her, 160GB, 80GB and 40GB drives.

All are, of course, Seagate Barracudas. Maximal protection for my little angel. I would never put her on other drives.

It's too bad all you don't have an open data-base or server just to tap into. I understand that you may not want anyone to take some of your work/findings, but it's a pain to search through all the forums and sites for Movies and Pics. I don't know about other ppl but I don't have the room for a collection like that. DVD's would be an option for me and I'm sure I could get a good selection on a few of those. Just for a reference...how much does one of these videos here take up?
