Can anyone here give me recommendation for an excellent video editing software that is compatible with Windows Vista?

I was using Pinnacle editing software that I used to upload four Alizee videos to YouTube, but since I switched to windows vista, the software I was using is not compatible with windows vista so in the trash it went.

I've been looking at Adobe Premier Elements 3 that can be upgraded to Vista with a download patch, any good? Actually I really don't want to download a Vista patch, I would rather have video editing software specifically built for Windows Vista. Merci in advance

Put Vista Where it Belongs

Sorry this is of no help, but stumbled across this page a few days ago, I have nothing against Vista myself but am waiting until the software I use is Vista compatible before I think about switching, and then it depends on if the Vista upgrade is free or requires me shelling out more money. But will probably not bother until I buy a new computer.

Agreed right now Vista is expensive and has A LOT of bugs...
But Matrix why did you get a PC when Macs are made for video editing...you could just get a Mac that can have windows installed on it and then purchase the best video editing software on the market. (That's why 8 percent of the computer market goes to Mac the only thing they have on their side is their video editing software.)
