Since we're here, how does one make a gif signature? Do you simply upload it to a website like imageshack the same as a non-moving sig? Same with the gallery. How does one make the .gif move in the album? Before someone clicks it?

Alpha you could use one of the software called Gif Animations v5.5, to do that small little square gif's. this software is commonly designed for the web. you can try this software it's very easy to learn and create gif's by yourself.

You can use them now, but because they have to be below the file 19.5K size limit you are quite limited to what you can use(ie none of the animated Alizée ones are small enough). And to try and make them that small would result in a very low quality and small image, but animating only part of the avatar could work.
