View Full Version : Flash 8 is required for videos

To keep file sizes as small as possible, flash 8 is required to view all of the videos. If you do not have flash 8 already installed, your browser should prompt you to install it. If for some reason it doesn't, you can download it from the link below.

i plan to at least setup an ftp so people can upload videos that I may not have here, and eventually .. depending on how well the site does, I will provide a ftp for download of quality videos.

there are lots of good videos, I remember seeing last year, that I cannot seem to find now.

Maybe if you could advertise this site on other sites that are very popular by say posting in the forums. It seems like a sure-fire method to me.

I have a 40mb Moi Lolita video suppossedly from DAM Square in 2000? Thats the title that it had when I downloaded, I don't know how authentic the title is, but anyway, Alizee was performing Moi Lolita at some outdoor stage.

maybe someone could tell me , her age and where she was bron and grow up. i heard she was bron in Quebec.canada. and growen up in france. is there any truth too that !!

The capital city of Corsica is Ajaccio, with a population of about 150 000. Or is that Corsica in total? I'm not sure now.

Anyway, a step back on topic. Brad, I didn't know that Flash 8 was required, but do you have some sort of fallback for cases where Flash 8 isn't available, such as desktop Linux was about a year ago, game console web browsers, and any browser for which Adobe doesn't provide an official plugin?

That sounds like Mylene Farmer, who moved to France with her French parents from Quebec when she was 10.

Brad, as I type this post on my Wii, I again ask the question: is there some sort of fallback for cases in which we don't have flash 8? I don't really mind if not, and I can understand why, but Flash 7 is a much more universal video format than Flash 8 is.

yes but the quality difference between flash 7 and flash 8 is HUGE, and flash 8 allows much smaller file sizes. Flash 8 allows the use of the On2 VP6 codec, which is way our flash videos are so much better than videos on youtube for example.

if anything I would switch to quicktime, or DIVX. But flash is so universal, and this site isn't really meant to be the only way to view videos. This is more of a 'discovery' and 'convenience' kind of thing.

over 95% of all computers already have flash 8 installed, ready to go.
