This is the thread of Alizee wallpapers which is specially made in photoshop CS or any other software's.... so i think there are many expert's in doing this kind of works, so... i have done one.. if you have just post it in this thread..... and enjoy!

Too much sharpening and other filtering. Her skin got errors too due to that. As well as lips.

Well, if you compare yourself them, you will notice that they are not like in the original. Like said, it's combination of too much sharpening and filtering. Or if you copy pasted the teeth from original, the selection edge is too sharp which will cause the same effect anyways.

I wasn't talking about that one tooth on her lip. But the other effects on lips, skin and teeth.

wow this sounds like one of those try new things speeches i get at school, yay i love these things, recently i got visited by the Canadian half pines played 5000 games i think and only lost 11, one of the guys who's name is reggie got to travel the world already, thing is it is very well possible he met Alizée since from what i remember he said is that he met a lot of celebrities, wrestled Hulk Hogan, and my favorite and the sorely missed Andre the Giant. may he rest in peace, so it is very well possible he met Alizée, oh and this post ends in about 7 letters.

I'm thinking it might be better with "Like a bottle of wine." I don't know of many glasses of wine that do a good job of getting better with age, exposed to the elements and all :p. On the other hand, you could even bypass the whole container reference and go with "Like a fine wine." In any case, it's pretty awsome man :cool:

In the spirit of sharing and enjoying more Alizée stuff, I've made a zip with Alizée wp's that I've collected out of different websites (200+). They are free at different websites along with a whole bunch more, I just selected the ones I liked to keep and now I've put them in a zip to share... keep in mind that even though they're not copy right protected, we should respect their creators by not modifying them. If you intend to make something similar but different, use these only as an example, select the original Alizée photos and make your own creations. If you intent to modify any of them, I would suggest contacting their creator first to avoid any fights. Most wp's have a website name on them or on their file name, I have not changed the names on the files so Pc users should have no problems. Amelie, if you want to know what other sizes to make exactly, here are the three you'd want to do:

1920x1200
1440x900
1280x800

If anything, do 1920x1200, because it can automatically be scaled down to the others.

Majority of the users uses low resolutions like 1024x768, 1280x960, 1280x1024 and their "equivalent" widescreen resolutions.

So very pathetic resolutions indeed. And that's one reason why the fucking LCDs won't start to have bigger resolutions... because majority is stuck to those fucking tiny resolutions...

22" wide (or two) with 1920x1200 res would be simply great for desktop stuff as secondary screens, and around same size CRT for main display (with 1600x1200 to 2048x1536 res) for graphics and other important stuff.

But nooo... they keeps making those fricking piece of shit resolution screens... palm sized pixels and shit...

You're welcome :-) I will advise, however, not necessarily to trust me over others. I'm decent at this stuff, but I'm not fluent.

Printanière is actually a better match - I went looking for that word, and couldn't find it. (la brise printanière is "the spring breeze" whereas what I used, la brise de printemps, is merely "the breeze of spring").

On the other change, what they provided is more literal - "but all that I have is this butterfly net," whereas what I provided is something that's slightly less accurate to the English, but which I thought would be more likely to be said. "Je n'ai que ce filet à papillons" is "I have only this butterfly net."

The only actual correction I would offer to the other translation is that "butterfly net" is "filet à papillons" rather than "filet de papillon." The rest is 100% ok.

Alizée is the doll(even if rather abstract as one)! No real two-way interaction, yet she and her music is always source of comfort and feeling of safety. Just like for religious person there is god(s)/stuff, for child it might be a toy, most people it's probably some kind of item, person, idea etc. they are emotionally attached to, if they have one, but for me there is Alizée! :D
Now, social needs have to be fulfilled some other way. But I don't really think anyone would get much out of talking to a Doll, no matter how Alizée it looks.
