there actually has been some news.. a recent fan meeting in paris (i believe) has brought on some news.

its going to be soon, probably either next month or this summer.

because from what ive heard she already has already signed with another record company. i also heard that it was going to be mercury (which is probably just another rumor). and i believe that her album is already done and the single will be out sometime during spring.

this is just what i know, i dont visit the site as much anymore but i still do visit it everyday.

Alizée has already given us "direct" news that she was in studio a year ago. There is a reasonable amount of additional indirect information that suggests the album is complete.

As for releasing more news, keep in mind that there are probably mutual contractual agreements between Alizée and her publisher that restricts or limits unilateral releases of information. This would include names, pictures, sound bites, etc. When planned correctly, with the proper release of information, a publisher can careful build things up to maximize the impact. If Alizée or publisher does something that grabs too much attention outside the plan or too soon, they can build excitment to a peak and not have a product ready to satisfy the excitment. Lose the momentum and a smash hit that drives the bandwagon to a concert tour can turn into just another ho hum album.

Stick to the plan! Don't do anyting to upset the plan. The best way to do that is to stay low and keep quite.

rumer has it. That Alizee is currently working on a new recored. She sent a letter to her fan club in France. She said she was currently working in the studieo. That was sent in March of 06. So if we just wait long enough she should be back. I know it is hard to wait but well. She has disapred for two years before. But she was realy working on her tour and new album. So do what I do. Just bite your lip and check evrey day on any new news on Alizee.

Well, the way Zack described it is fine, as that is the meaning that the expression is trying to get across. However, if one wanted to give that meaning but also have a more literal translation at the same time, well, you know.

It's completely Corsican, no connection to French at all (well, no more so than what everything in Corsu has). Though even there it's a modern expression without direct translation.
