Yelle just had a concert here in Boston. Mon Maquis had notified me about it a couple of weeks ago. I really wanted to go to this, but that's a regular work night for me and to get it off, I had to get someone to cover for me but for a couple of reasons, I couldn't make it happen.

I was curious to see her, but I was more curious to see if I could find any Alizée fans in the crowd. I planned on getting one more use out of the AAm jersey I had made up back in 2010 for the autograph session as an ice breaker.

It's amazing to look at Yelle's tour schedule thinking that under the right management and circumstances, this could have easily happened for Alizée if that is what she wanted and that's a big if.

You're right, it's interesting to see Yelle touring all around the world, and specifically the US. That proves it's not impossible for a French-singing artist to make it in the United States. Too bad you couldn't make it to the show--I'm sure it would've been fun.
