Take a look at this video:

<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/5ol-mUx8Vx4"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/5ol-mUx8Vx4" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>

At precisely 3min. 11sec. (time counts down) the screen is scrolling down and a building appears on the right of the screen. On top of the building there appears to be a girl. She does a little dance, which appears to me to be the JEAM dance.

Am I just seeing things??

This video is from StarCraft II (http://eu.starcraft2.com/), which was announced today.

That was World of Warcraft.

World of Warcraft was release Nov. 22 - 2004. JEAM was being shown in March of 2003. It was choreographed in 2002. The "Night Elf Female" dance is JEAM. SOMEONE at Blizzard LOVES Alizée!!

More likely back in 2002. Since MCE (and JEAM) was gonna be released in late 2002 originally.

I had to watch the vid a couple of times to notice it, because I was too busy checking out the new dragoons. A couple of weeks ago I had stopped playing BW and had moved on to D2...but this is really making me salivate in anticipation of SC2. Amazing stuff.

And any game with Alizée in it is insta-win, right? ;)

well this is made by blizzard, and with the rising popularity of alizee among US fans thanks to world of warcraft (also made by blizzard), im guessing they want to make her more popular and put some sex appeal into the game.

either that or they just want to promote alizee's comeback.

Blizzard's got some affiliations with France. I think they've even got a Blizzard headquarters in France. That's why I think they had Alizee stuff in these games. If you play WOW, you'll notice a lot of things are actually named in french. Some off the top of my head - Bijou (jewellry) and "L'eau de XX". Nice spot btw. <3 Blizzard. My favourite gaming company.

If you play WOW, you'll notice a lot of things are actually named in french. Some off the top of my head - Bijou (jewelry) and "L'eau de XX". Nice spot BTW. <3 Blizzard. My favorite gaming company.Blizzard is actually a part of Vivendi Games, and Vivendi is a huge entertainment/media company based in France. One of the other parts of Vivendi is Universal Music Group (sometimes referred to as Vivendi Universal), which as we all know is the label under which Alizee recorded two of her first albums. So maybe there is no coincidence in seeing Alizee's dance moves in their games.

BTW, if there are any Alizee fans @ Blizzard, I'm sure there is more than one as IMO it definitely took more than one person to create these animations. And given the fact that this is the second game that pays tribute to Alizee only reinforces that idea.

Blizzard is also my favorite gaming company. Back in the days of original Diablo I was addicted to it so much that I literally knew almost everyone on Battle.net and almost everyone on there knew me. StarCraft was also one of my all-time favorites, and for a long while I hated Blizzard for not following it up with a sequel, especially after the way they ended Brood War (and those who played it and found a bonus mission know exactly what I mean). But hey, I'm glad that they finally came to their senses and StarCraft II is on the way. Plus the fact that Alizee will be in it (well, sort of) makes it even more appealing to me.

Er... SC:Ghost was cancelled!!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/StarCraft:_Ghost

StarCraft: Ghost was a planned tactical action game for video game consoles developed by Blizzard Entertainment and set in the same science fiction milieu as its popular StarCraft title. Blizzard announced the game in 2002, but on March 24, 2006 announced it would "indefinitely postpone" development[1]. Soon afterward, Blizzard removed StarCraft: Ghost from its list of games currently under development, and deleted the official Ghost home page; the URL for that page now redirects to Blizzard's Web site[1]. As of now, its status is in question, and many fans and analysts, including gaming websites such as IGN, are predicting that it has been canceled.

Blizzard, a game developer mostly known for computer games, was taking a step in a different direction by producing Ghost exclusively for the Xbox and PlayStation 2 video game consoles. Instead, they have now chosen to reorient themselves on the seventh generation consoles. Earlier, a GameCube version was also planned, but it was already canceled in November 2005. Many in the gaming community were under the assumption that the game was being developed by Blizzard when it has in fact been a third-party project since its inception, starting with Nihilistic (Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects, Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption) and officially moved over to Swingin' Ape Studios (Metal Arms: Glitch in the System) in July 2004. On May 16, 2005, Blizzard Entertainment acquired Swingin' Ape Studios, and in March 2006 they announced that Starcraft: Ghost was on indefinite hold.

That's definitely the JEAM dance, but I believe what the hologram thing is actually doing is just a list of some of the female Night Elf emotes from World of Warcraft. It looks to me like she does the /dance,/kiss, and /rasp emotes.

She thinks i just like her because Alizée is "HAWT".....

What is it with teens and young adults these days! A middle-aged man takes an interest in the musical talent of a young beautiful woman and BAM!, "He just likes her because she's hot".

I can't decide if this is a stereotypical attribute of middle-aged men, or if it is the stereotypical attribute of teens and young adults, and their own failings when it comes to seeing value beyond looks. Seriously, the teens and young adults who know I listen to Alizée just can't move beyond looks when trying to understand my tastes.

Like you said, there ain't no looks coming out of the car stereo speakers. Beautiful voice? Yes. Beautiful Rhythm? Yes. Beautiful Rhyme? Yes. Beautiful Looks? No (not from a frikin speaker).

That said: Yes, Alizée is HAWT! But that is just the iciing on an otherwise total scrumptious cake.

Edit: Of course, cake is often best with iciing too; now where did I put that En Concert DVD?:D

I admit right up front to my step-daughter and my wife - yes, Alizée is good looking - but that has nothing to do with me listening to it when i work, or when i'm traveling - especially when my taste in music goes more towards ZZTop, Metallica, Def Leppard, Nickelback and Hinder. (Or Sammy Hagar, Billy Squire, Ratt, Warrant or Poison . . .)

Is it "Transference" - the process of projecting onto others your own motivations or weaknesses? I don't know - but it seems to me that SOME (and i capitalize that to emphasize that i'm saying some) teens and young adults seem even more appearence centered than i was in my youth... I don't know - is society becoming ever more shallow, ever more venal? Probably until the next great crisis that makes us all grow up... ;)

In any event - I like Blizzard, and I am very happy to see Alizée in the new Starcraft announcement! I may even have to play it to see if i can find her! ;)

<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/066_q4DIeqk"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/066_q4DIeqk&autoplay=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>

who made this it seems they had a lot of time on their hands, then again their are alot of other weirder videos than that.

Does anyone know if Lili actually plays video games??? It would be so awesome if she turned out to be a World of Warcraft fanatic :)

I don't think she has ever mentioned any video games, so I doubt it, but she did say she is interested in computer science and has googled her own name before. Then she thanked the webmasters of her fansites, saying that she knew how difficult and time consuming it can be. I think she indicated that she had created a website herself before, but I not completely sure.
*Runs off to watch the interview again* :)

No.... -_- If Alizée was a WoW nerd it would greatly decrease my liking of her.... i lost my best friend to WoW... :( so i've had bad experiences with it, i like the game... but some people take it too far, become obsessed, lose intrests, and become anti-social... it just kills me... :(

^ from what i know she really has no interest in games, but that is little the only thing is blizzard happens to be a bunch well dare i say it a little perverted and they thought the JEAM dance was hot, so they took it.

I don't think she has ever mentioned any video games, so I doubt it, but she did say she is interested in computer science and has Googled her own name before. Then she thanked the webmasters of her fansites, saying that she knew how difficult and time consuming it can be. I think she indicated that she had created a website herself before, but I am not completely sure.I believe that in one of the interviews before, the interviewer asked Alizee about what would she be if she wasn't a singer or a dancer, and she said that she would probably be a computer scientist because her father is one, he also taught her a lot about computers and she liked it a lot.

I also remember some fan site saying that Alizee's official website (when it was online) was her father's work. I also believe that she has said in some interviews between 2000 and 2003 that she does visit some of her more famous fan sites pretty often just to see what people think and say about her. Not sure it is still the case, but I think it probably is, just not as often as before given the fact that Alizee is now a wife and a mom. But she's definitely not a total n00b when it comes to computers.

I think this analysis of the situation underestimates the potential for cross-sensory recollections. I find if watching a video evokes pleasant emotions, then listening to the music without the video then tends to recall the same pleasant emotions.

Along these lines an early review of the Spice Girls said something like "they seem to think that they sound better in spandex." ;)
