OK, we had a movie trailers and Alizee in StarCraft II threads, so I figured this would make a good topic. Post your favorite game trailer, does not have to be new. This is from E3 2005, but still one of my favorites.......

For fans of Action Horror genre, i highly suggest The Suffering, which is one of my Personal Favorites :D **The first one tho, unfortunately, the second one Ties That Bind, fails horribly to the first

ok i have really like the kingdom hearts game and this isn't exactly a trailer but it is pretty funny. but the person who made this had alot of times on his hands, their are like 12 in all to boot. this is #2 my favorite.

^ no they don't suck they are just idiots when it comes to working out the bugs on their systems which makes you safer when you buy their systems at least a year later after it comes out. and i have played KH2 and the first one extensively the story of those Final Fantasy games just eat me away, just love them.

Fans of Action Shooter and a good storyline with a Neo-Nior plot (for example - like Sin City) will love Max Payne, and even if you aren't a huge fan, i encourage you to try it, i'm assured you'll find some element of this game you'll like ;) (this is also one of the first games to include the use of Bullet Time (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bullet_time))

The movie was a hit or miss, personally i liked it, however i've heard a fair share of dislike for it as well, i guess the game is somewhat the same way, hit or miss ;)

ah well i actually disagree though i see why you do, so it didn't quite stick to the comics and the classic black suit wasn't exactly the same classic we love, the twist is what gave it an essence and i message you don't get in most movies, spider- man is about lessons and what he has to go through to learn them, example Uncle Ben dies though that is kinda drastic, it sticks to Peter forever he knows that with great power........ you know how it goes, and the same as well with Aunt May saying people need a hero to look for when they are in danger and.. bla bla watch the movie spider man 2 again if you want the phrase, it is all about what he goes through not the heroes or villains but the choices.

trust me when it comes to Spider-Man i know what i am talking about.

Following Max Payne is Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne, Besides a huge graphic overhall and slight mechanics improvements, its still the same game you know and love from the first, however, i feel this slightly falls short to its predecessor, now that is not to say the game isn't a good game, i also highly recommend this title as well, and it still has a Neo-Noir taste to it. The only shortcoming i see in it is that the story lacks what the first one had, 2's story is good, but the original is always better :p

Gears of War was Cliff Bleszinski's (the man behind the Unreal franchise) project as he shifted from his computer games to making a console game. It's praised for its simple controls (i.e. the "A" button does just about all the "action" moves) and 'Unreal' (:p)concepts on graphics, weapons, and Guerilla Warefare (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guerrilla_warfare) tactics. This is not a 'Run-N-Gun' Action game, tactics like cover and blind fire are crucial, its more about strategy then just blast away, however, don't get me wrong, there is immense amount of blood to spill in a wide variety of fashionable ways. And altough cover is key, imput tactics like "Action Reload" which allows your bullets 10% more damage for a short period of time, are just as equally important. The gameplay is considered by some phenominal, but it may be tricky for some to get the hang of at first. Regardless, this game is amazing and whoever has played it, knows what i'm talking about :D

Starcraft is quite an old game, and even because of that, the fact that its still just as fun and exciting (especially on Battle.net) as it was so many years ago makes it a purely spectactular game :D ... thanks for the vid ;)

This is in-game footage [of Assassins Creed] and there are many other videos that show how very interactive the entire environment is.
I haven't played much of this game, but i've heard that its a well made interactive game! Ubisoft usually works hard on their games and it definately shows :D someone thats played more plz share your thoughts? ;)

Until the announcement of Starcraft II, this was going to be my next Starcraft, we all sat wondering where the hell is SCII and this Halo Wars, could this be essentially it? Now that SCII has been announced, i'm dinfinately excited for both of them, now this game i feel will be badass, I can only hope for the best as Bungie constructs a RTS game instead of a FPS, and i know that Blizzard wont dissappoint, i can only hope Bungie wont either, but i'm fairly confident they will do just as good :D

anyways here is battlefront 2
A good amount of the Star Wars games are also hit or miss, for example Knight of the Old Republic is strongly hailed whereas some of the Jedi Outcast games are a disgrace, however with the Battlefront the feedback was moreso positive. I don't much more about the game, but it really doesn't look that bad ;) Besides this is another Fan Game, meaning that If you love Star Wars, you'll love this game :D

This is another Fan Game (Scareface fans ME] will love this game) and is a hypothetical sequel to the highly commended movie Scarface, it takes place directly after the movie's end with [I]Tony alive but not as well... his entire empire has been taken away by Sosa and through the completion of the game you regain your assets and regain your rule in Miami. Most all the elements of the Movie are alive and prevelant through gameplay, and altough Al Pacino does not voice Tony (:(, due to his chain smoking it's drastically changed his voice) the overall 'feel' of the movie is entirely there. The cars are all retro and the landmarks, like the Babylon and Tony's Mansion, are there, the MUSIC is top notch and even lets you feel the sound of the times. *Bonus if you know Spanish, for some of the street chatter and some speech is in Spanish. Some may call this another GTA clone (like True Crime:rolleyes:) but its so much more then a clone altough a lot of the same elements are found. Targeting is relativly easy and controls are usually good. This game also captures the feel of not only the 80's but the movie itself by the acting and animation of Tony, it even comes with a "Swear" button, which isn't as useless as it sounds :rolleyes: Overall, i may be a tad bias because i love Scarface so much, but this really is a good game that you should try out, and if you like the movie, you'll definately like being Tony Montana :D[/COLOR]

Indeed it does, have you played 3 yet tho? same 'Sandbox' free roaming game just like Spidey 2 was, graphics obviously better and the combat has been rebuilt so you can't kill everything by just smashin the X button as in Spiderman 2 :D

I think the nostagia is with those who've actually played the first Star Craft (unless you're Korean since the game is still going stronger than ever there), and most folks probably play consoles.

Sorry for the late reply but check out this trailer of Tom Clancy's Endwar. Its an RTS based on WW3 and it has every character in the Tom Clancy Franchise in it (the ghosts, maybe Sim Fisher etc). The game's controls are simple, you communicate to your units with your own voice. I'm hoping that they do a good job or this feature could ruin the game.

Just thought I might as well add this - Not really a full blown game trailer for Half Life Ep2 but it is a really cool feature.

By the way, I still remember some of the names of the tops (my version actually had names instead of the twirly stuff). I remember Hurricane Hank and Dizzy Dan. I think there was a Super Sam. My first real introduction to inertia, torque, momentum, gyroscopic forces, collisions and all sorts of "dynamic" effects. The true seeds of a future engineer.

Cant wait for this one! Amazing musical score, rock solid storylines, and visually the best flight game for any console system, has to be the Ace Combat series, and this one is shaping up to be the best!

Can't beat Gran Turismo for a graphical masterpiece. I just wish they would make a Gran Turismo MMO....so even if you didn't feel like racing you could just go cruise around cities or the country and check out other people's cars.
