Well they didn't just show that JEAM picture, they showed lots of others too. If she's as popular there as I've been hearing, wouldn't someone know her?

She is famous becuase of JEAM, the other pictures were from ML era and the Elise commercial, so ppl doesnt know about that, only 1 person heard about alizee in 2000.

This video has been out for awhile. I saw this late last yr. A funny part is near the end when one of the guys sitting at a table recognizes her from the Japanese Biscuit commerical she did in 2003, i believe..."It's the Biscuit Girl!!!" Overall, i don't think too many people remember her...:(

I'm not really surprised. I could be wrong and this could just be me stereotyping, but it seems to me that the modern, youth Japanese culture is very faddish... completly into one thing this year and then completely into something else the next.

She had the same basic "look" until around 2002 or so. ;)

But I dunno, if I were a big JEAM fan I think I'd still recognize it as the same person. I don't really feel she changed as much as some people seem to think. :confused:

Well we had this french pop singer back in 2002, around september, so its wierd to me that i didnt heard of Alizee.
The french pop singer was named Ingred...

Well I am going to launch a site for Alizee in Japan.
Im sure she has a sort of cult following there...somewhere.
Its up now, but Im just taking emails and names.
Id like to have a forum there and such...much like this site.
I link to this site for the videos. So maybe i can bring this site traffic from Japan as well. ID really like a version of this site in Japanese hosted there on my server...just worried about bandwidth costs of videos...whcih Im sure is very high.
The web host is literally in Japan.
