Due to all of the recent spam, I have turned on email verification for new users. This always annoys me when signing up for new websites, so I had it disabled until now. Current members don't have to worry .. but all new users will have to verify their email address before they are allowed to post.

It is a minor annoyance .. but I think it will help. On a side note, I will be in San Diego all next week on a business trip, so I am not sure how much moderating I will be able to do here. I am going to make a few of you that are online a lot moderators to help keep anything that isnt appropriate off the website.

I always ask myself, 'What would Alizee think if she saw this on a website' .. If I don't think she would approve of it, or might be offended .. I get rid of it.

I will post more about this tonight.

Yeah, verifying email bothers me too, but if you're getting trouble, then it's highly worth it-good thing signed up when i did:) (but then again it does take 5 seconds to do it). And have a good business trip:D

no .. not every post. just when you make your account. it really isnt a big deal .. almost every other forum does it.

it seem as much of a problem to me, its almost 2nd nature for things like this, it was a smart move and i dont think it will bother many people much
