Alizee on TV in Brussels

A friend of mine is on a cruise somewhere in Europe. I'm not exactly sure where she's going, but I think the boat is sailing around the Scandinavian countries.

Anyway, that's not what is important. She sent me an e-mail today which had this gem in it:

But you'll never believe what happened. We had a layover in Brussels and were wandering around the airport. An Alizee music video was on at the bar!! I was so excited - and not because it was your funeral song. If I got cell service abroad, I would have texted you. Really I should have taken a picture to send to you, since we both know how you doubt my every truthful utterance.

About the "funeral" thing...sort of a long story. Basically, before she left, I told her I wanted "Amelie m'a dit" played at my funeral...whenever that happens. I was half-kidding...but I just really like how the song sounds, and it seems like it would fit. It's sort of morbid, but for some reason, the music playing at my funeral is something I've always thought about. Maybe it's the DJ in me. :D But I'm assuming that means it was the "Amelie" video she saw.

Thought you guys might like to know: Brussels still loves Alizee.

No, I have yet to see a video of Alizee in a bar here on the STRIP in Las Vegas... even at the Paris casino..lol

I have an idea that I've seen in a movie sometime long ago. We need someone crafty out there (maybe DVTQ) to crash the cable and satellite networks long enough to play just one Alizee video with www.moi-alizee.us at the bottom.

Matrix, I like how you think. If there were just one U.S. city for Alizee to play in I would vote for Vegas. It has the cheapest airfare connections for all cities.:)

Sorry DVTQ, it seems that you would be the smartest one that would know how to do this type of job. I still think a local access cable channel would be a good way to play Alizee videos, it's just most people don't tune into this channel.

If I ever see Alizee on TV, I will most certainly skip a couple heart beats.:eek:

They did something similar to that in it (although it it not the only movie where this was done).

I love the idea... i bet i could help a lil bit, maybe send a virus to the tv station networks that would do that. i created one on my old laptop to do somthing like that and it killed my laptop..now i have a new, better computer =)
