Alizée - Remix!

What do you guys think of my cover art for all my remixes?

(I'm seriously not just showing off -- I really want some critical feedback)

I was going to do that, but MCE already has it in red. Despite that should I still do it red?

ok... i'm gonna be honest with u (i know last time got me some troubles)

anyhow, i don't see that u added anything new to the pic (well it doesn't have to since its lili!!!) anyhow if you don't want to change anything on the pic itself, i suggest you change the place of the font not just on her pretty head!! and remix thing should be smaller i think, i think all the font should be smaller...

I don't know what trouble you got into, or what time that was, but I greatly appreciate your suggestions :)

It's nice, I like. Simple is good. I could however, see the "Alizée" text in the upper-left corner (or any upper corner?), but that just what I think, maybe it looks bad there. Also, maybe instead of making the "Remix" text smaller, maybe just make the "Remix" text fade into the photo? Just try and see if you like it.

I was thinking, since it's a remix, if you could add some color to it, make it different from most covers. Like, the background have a reddish shade, with some white mixture. Possibly color Alizée if you want to. Just a suggestion.

At least the Remix font size. Also, the picture of Alizee is very good, but the background is very gray, so the cover could possibly use more color, and possibly a small border. Just thoughts (remember - I don't know what effect you are trying for).

PS - As is would be fine (it's a nice cover) but as you asked for comments ...

I'm not so happy with it, but I don't exactly know why. I think it relates to the circle being off-center, and the Alizée logo going across the boundary.

You might want to consider some mirror imaging. Show the same image of Alizée but mirror them on the Horizontal. Then perhaps change the image you put on the right. The change represents the remix. The left to right conveys the passage of time from original (on left) to remix (on right).

You can put the Alizée name over the original on the left and put Remix underneath the "changed" mirror image on the right. The top to bottom also conveys a change in time.

As for images, you might want to try several. The one's with Alizée looking left or right might do best since when you mirror them, the eye contact will mirror as well.
