"very low-class look in my opinion". :eek: There used to be a Mexican comedian who used to wear-em like this back in 1930s or 40s, his name was Cantinflas (very funny guy if you know spanish). ;) The reason he wore the pants like that was because he was portraying a very poor man who couldn't afford a proper belt to hold his pants up, and it was meant to be funny, specially when he danced. Can't imagine how that style caught on??? :confused:

I don't mean the photoshoots directly for the albums nor anything performance related. But those several photoshoots (for press) in "normal" clothes done mostly buy Philippe Bouley. Like the 24th of November, 2001, photoshoot. And few others from 2000 and 2001. There's some ok cloths in those but some of them are so weird combinations... Maybe it's because she looks a lot like child (not "lolita child") in some of them. So bit too young for my taste.

But there can be many reasons for it beyond your intent. Given the picture's "content", some people (mostly men) tend to lose the ability to read...or think....or function. When faced with such beauty, the issue of style or fashion is moot.

What it is, is a hoodlum look. As u know some of these hoodlums have made it to a higher class by playing sports or music. Kids copy everything they see, and think it's cool. Before u know it, everyone is doing it as a style. We've all been there, at one point or another. I think Alizée looks great in anything, but thats not the point. Everyone here agrees that Alizée is a very classy lady, so my point is that Alizée has too much class for that scrub look....... no offense to anyone, I hope. ;) Here's more of that look (she's very cute though)..... :wub:

Damn, that does look like a Mini!... Does anyone know for sure? The past few months I've been developing a way to customize a Mini into my own Lili-mobile (if/when I get the cash). Basically, I was gona take a black Cooper S (with white bonnet stripes), get the hatchback to be white with two black and one red bordering pin stripes, my custom plates (LALIZEE), and about a 12-inch poisson rouge on the back bumper. It'll be awsome if I ever get it done. (I'm still working on some ideas for the roof). Anyway, I have to one-up Cooney's ALIZEE1 with that thing driving around locally :D

Yeah... I've been looking in to how I could get ALIZEE as a WA license plate, and it simply isn't possible. The closest one can you can get is AL1ZEE, maybe. To do that, I'd have to go earn the top level HAM radio operator certification there is, get FCC licensed, apply for a vanity call-sign, then use a highly irregular format for my call-sign, possibly requiring me to live in certain states in the North-East, and even-then it might not be possible due to call-sign restrictions based on formats (AL call-signs are supposed to be LLNL or LLNLL, not LLNLLL). If I managed to get that call-sign, I could then use my license paperwork to apply to the DOL for a HAM/MARS plate with it. /sigh.

Unfortunately, we don't get to use anything fun here like CA's heart symbols. Heck, with that symbol, and the fact that CA has 8 letter plates, I'd use I♥ALIZEE as my plate if I were there.

We don't to use punctuation either (NC for example, allows slash marks), or even accents. I've considered adding the accent to mine to make it ALIZÉE1 instead of ALIZEE1, but I don't want to get in the business of illegally messing with my car's identification :-(

Mini Cooper's website says minis are 4 foot 7.4 inches from the ground to the roof. Based on that picture that makes Alizée about 5 foot 4 inches. That is so cute that she isn't much taller than a mini! This is one more thing that I love about her!:)

They're expensive compared to US plates, but I'm not sure what the normal plates fee is for you guys.

Checking out the graphical plates available, you could even get ♥ALIZEE if you wanted.

Thanks, I've tried to info on that before, but I guess I didn't look hard enough. They are expensive, but having ALIZEE as a plate would be so cool!

The ♥ might be too much, as I'm not the kind of guy who would put a heart on his car, no matter what the reason.

Goldstar Alizee, a two year old heifer from Martin Ryan's Goldstar herd in Co. Tipperary won the ACC Overall Pedigree Interbreed Championship at last Sunday's (24th June 2007) Show in Athlone. An imported heifer from France she is by Theodat and out of a cow called Niece.

No, no. I wouldn't name a cow after her. But way to fly the Irish flag on the sight. That kid at the front is worse looking then the cow itself :D.

I did however name my new guitar Lili. Maybe I should post some pics.
