what are the chances that tomorrow is THE day? Pretty slim, but we can have fun pretending today :)

Pretty slim that it's THE day for the release of the new single, but not bad at all that it's THE day the web site comes back up. :D

Yeah would be cool seeing the website back up because there may be some new news regarding the album or singles or at least having it up to let us know that the return is soon for sure. As for the single being released tomorrow... as you said we can only hope, no problem with that right? ;)

True, but Lili's asleep or will be shortly (currently as I write this it's 1:33 am in Paris), and so is her father or whoever is doing the site engineering. We won't know it's a false alarm until the site fails to come up by about noon Paris time.

The reason I don't think the single will come out on the 8th is because 14th July - 15th August is vacation season in France and it would be poor marketing. If anything happens, I think it will be the web site.

It would be just like her to have been playing with our brains when the site turned red, but we can't completely rule out the hacker hypothesis either. Although there have been hints of late . . . well, we'll soon see. :)

Zack, I certainly wouldn't say that you're RMJ, because everybody obviously has their own personality, and yours is different from RMJ's. However, on a forum like this, I'd take it as more of a compliment than anything else.

And after all, we need somebody to be realistic here.

Well, so much for that. Oh, well, we all should have learned by now not to trust Lili's predictions (I'm still thinking it probably WAS her messing with us when the site turned red) about when this or that would happen. Remember March 2006 and the promise she would be with us "vite"? Or last spring when she told fans she might have a new single out in June? Both of those were almost certainly really from her, and both were wrong. There are delays, things take longer than she's expecting, she gets excited and makes wishful-thinking projections of her own. Take it seriously and it's exasperating; accept it as part of how she is and it becomes an endearing little flaw -- she's not perfect after all. :D

Third week of this month? Let's hope. :cool:

Well, I guess that build all became nothing. Could be mind games. Sony are world class at it. Keep the hype and suspense going for as long as possible so as to maximise sales. Delays only serve to add to the desire.

Of course, it can backfire, as shown with the PS3.

Let's hope the third week isn't part of a scheme to raise hype and is really a date to look forward to...
