I know this probably seems stupid, but I hear this music or something like it all the time in films that are showing something French. It seems to be like the French theme in the film business.

The music I am talking about is the music Bill palys as the French syren. I know it isn't an actual french syren, and ignore the words just focus on the music. What is that piece of music he is playing on the keyboard called, and how can I get it?

I love the sound of that instrument. Something similar was done on the keyboard during the opening of J'en Ai Marre during En Conert. Deepwaters called it a magical carrousel piece.

Although accordion(e) came from Italy at the end of 19th century, it became very french indeed :

Yes, most keyboards have 2 or 3 accordian patches in them right from the factory.
