A lot has happened today!
Let me recap you all.

Alizée's new album will be called Physcedelices, not Fifty Sixty. The first signle will not be Fifty Sixty, but Mademoiselle Julliette. It will be played on the radio the last week in september. The music video will be available later on after that. The album will be released in November (BUMMMMMMMERRRRR!!!)


Personally this sux. I'm glad I have info, but I like fifty sixty better and wanna hear the final version first and SOON! I hope the album comes in october cuz I've already heard Mll Julliette and I don't like it that much.

Seems like with her last album, the Farmer production machine threw tons of time and money into TV performances and video production, not to mention the En Concert tour/video.

I did some snooping and found the fabled Texts of Alizée reportedly written in the 4th century by a prophet who foretold of her coming. This led to, as I'm sure you are all aware, a widespread religious experience which encapsulated the globe. The Church did unfortunately die away, after the great schism of 1234, but some of the texts still remain. I unearthed some of the Church's other prays.

Finally, when it arrives, you must listen to it twoscore times and reflect upon its meaning. Then report back.

I'd be more in favor of alizee-america than alizeeusa if Brad were to make the choice to change. America is a little bit more encompassing than just USA alone (after all, around 50% of our active membership is from non-US locations), and being as we already use "Alizée America" as our name, it wouldn't require a swap or change in thinking.

To change a URL you have to pay to register the new name, begin payments on that new site, and cease payments on the old. There will always be some overlap, and registration is almost never free.

Site names aren't like file names, able to be changed at any given time. Site names are maintained at an international level, and the association of a name with a URL can take days to propogate across the global DNS network.

I'm a little curious about something I noticed on the official site:

How do you guys read that last bit? "Encore" is usually translated as "again," but it can also mean "only," "still," "yet," or "even."

Does this mean that only Jean Fauque wrote the lyrics? Or that the only contribution Fauque made was to write the lyrics? Or that all the lyrics were written by Fauque and/or Jérémy ("Jérémy Chatelaine ou . . . Jean Fauque pour les textes")?

I think I'm reading it that the first four collaborated on the music, either composing or playing or both, while Fauque wrote all the lyrics. But I'm not sure that's right. (I'm also not sure whoever wrote that blurb knew what they were talking about, of course.)

Brad, why don't you wait until she goes public in a few months (weeks?!?). If she's very hostile towards her 2001 career and the image that was forced upon her, I think you should, for her sake, change the site name to not include the moi...lolita reference. But, if she's relatively candid about her previous albums, leave this site the way it is.
