Recognize this? It's a pixel art image of Alizée, found in Topaz's sig at the moment.
I've fallen in love with that little 26x27 image. In fact, I've fallen in love with it so much that I just had to do something. I fixed up that image, and I modified it heavily twice; once for Alizée in 2000, and once for Alizée in 2007. I'm really happy with the results, and I've just got to share them!

Heheh, I guess I've been outdone. But with regard to what she's wearing in the third picture, it's the dress in the unofficial Psychédélices album art, which was spreading around a while ago.
yeah once we get the real album art of the new album or some officially released pictures we can make some real pixel art(by we I mean espire ;p) of her in 2007
hm I have done pixel art before maybe I will also take a whack at this

The JPVA dress comes all the way up to the shoulders, and has sleeves. the fake album art outfit, however, looks very much like the inner layer of a corset, and comes up much lower.
However, I've found the thread by HME on AF, the original creator of these, and he made a JPVA version too! I fixed it up a little, and you can see it below.

Very impressive! I'm sure that's far better than what I could do, but here's my advice:
The hair and straps are a little uneven, I'd recommend using the head that I modified.
Don't try to make fingers on such a small image, instead just antialias to give the impression that they're there.
Straighten out the arms, because...
We can't see how thin the waist should be.
Last, the blackness of the JEAM outfit doesn't put as much emphasis on the, erm, privates, when looking head-on.
I know that's a long list, but what you've done in such a short time really is wonderful. I and just about everybody here would love to see a dancing pixel-art version of Alizée, so keep on going!

I just watched JEAM, and I'd say that the easiest thing to start with is the part where Alizée sings "Badabadabambam..." The problem is that the proper viewing angle for this is from the side, and we don't have anything from a side view. The rest will be extremely tough, Capn.
indeed but we can create the side view lol if the front was makable why not the side or the back also this has been put on hold until let when I have time finishing something else up first but by tonight or tomorrow I should have something of a start hopefully if I remember (not really much but 2 or 3 frames hopefully something to get criticism on

god why did I have to pick such a hard dance if this gets done this century I will be surprised lol anyways I will start it tonight I will first do the hand and arm movements and see how you like that and than add the leg and lower body movements after I think thats the safest way to do it especially since when I made the body I split it up into upper body,arms,lower body so it should be easy to add leg movements in after
EDIT:arggh beta 1 I've insulted myself,these forums,and most of all Alizée with this I need deep criticism tear it apart and tell me where to fix it (note:I know the body and legs are not moving yet 1 step at a time =( I don't know if I am even going to proceed at this point as I feel I have insulted this dance with this so its totally up to what you people think of it its only a small part of the song but I think once I work in the legs and maybe fix up the arms a bit it could be good)

The waste movement to me is a little fast, would be nice if you could slow it up some
I tried it jerked when I did it needs some work I will work on it a bit more later I have an idea to make it better anyways

That really is awesome, but if you want some criticism, I'd say that the waist is far too narrow proportionally to the chest.
yes perhaps this is true I might touch it up I might not we will see I don't think it is necessary to make the effect but let me think about tampering with it

Well actually, I'd say all you really need to do is remove those two excess pixels on each side of the chest, but it definitely does look a bit weird at the moment.
The shading you use for the side view of the legs is most impressive.
if you zoom on it its actually simply shaded I will remove the extra pixels later
