Well the first link posted by Amigo! takes you to the double CD. Unfortunately I went poking around before ordering it and I ended up ordering the single CD. I wonder if the double CD has a bonus disc or the MJ single. Now I'm tempted to go and pre-order the double one as well.

I have a poor track record with ordering things but I don't know how this compares to other people's experience (I ordered the new KISS Army package on August 24 and I'm still waiting... When I ordered En Concert, I selected regular shipping and it said 10-12 business days, but I actually got it in 6 days. :)

The faster shipping says 1-5, but I think that is considering you are from France. Although the CD shipping from France to the USA to my doorstep in 1 business day would be very cool. :D

Try setting it to ship each item as available, and watch those charges soar (Nearly 100 euros for shipping on three of each disc? No thank you!).

Anyway, in my experience both methods are pretty fast. Two or three days for express, around a week with standard to NYC. A bit more when I lived in Baltimore.

My preorder is in for two of the "2 CD" item. I will be interested to see, however, if there actually is a 2 disc item, and if so, if there is a seperate 1 disc item. Amazon is an excellent supplier, but they do have a long history of messing up the technical details of their descriptions. I'll also be interested to see if there actually does end up being a vinyl... she hasn't done a vinyl of an album before, though obviously it is entirely doable.

Added a copy of the "1 disc" version, just to be on the safe side. It allows you to combine them in to a single order after the fact to save on shipping, so I figured I'd take advantage of that.

Indeed, who knows, but you're if you base your purchase based on the idea that RCA won't release in the US unless it sees US sales, you're in a Catch22. If you can't buy it in the US until it's released here, but they don't release it in the US until they see sales here... yeah. Either they will or they won't - I say buy it from wherever you can legitimately get it, and hope for the best.

It's asking for your credit card info. But you shouldn't even need to bother with that. Here's a tip everyone: go to the regular old US amazon.com first, and set up all your information there in English. Save your address and card info to your address book. Then just sign into amazon.fr with the same account and you should be good to go with just a few mouse clicks. Also keep in mind that they layout of amazon.fr and amazon.com are almost the same. So if you have a question about what something says, it's usually not hard to find the corresponding button in English.

Well, I'm not sure exactly what you're trying to have it say. It says something a bit wierd at the moment... something like:

"I found this CD on Amazon.fr and I to me am said that it could surely interest it you"


If you want to say:

"I found this CD on Amazon.fr and I said to myself that it could surely interest you"

Try this slight modification:

No, I'm not basing my decision on this. I didn’t intend my post to sound that way. I already pre-ordered 2 copies of her new CD from Amazon.fr. I've also purchased much of her older stuff from them as well. I would encourage anyone who can to go ahead and pre-order from Amazon.fr. After all, they have always made it relatively easy for Americans to purchase her music.

I just hope North American purchases are being recognized as such. If our numbers are respectable, I really want Alizée to know it. I realize it’s a slim chance, but I would like to hold out hope that she will feel that it’s worth it to pay us a visit.

I've thought about that as well. At the very least I'd like for Amazon to at least take notice and decide to put it up on Amazon US also. That would make it more accessible to the less hardcore fans who would probably buy it, but don't feel like hitting up babelfish just to order a CD.

That in turn would increase her sales here a little, and would be one step closer to Alizée or her record company taking notice. Baby steps..:D
