Hey all. This is my first post so here goes….
I discovered Alizée about 3 weeks ago from the “Shake” video in the Google Video Top 100. I was intrigued so I searched for “Alizée” and watched the Jen Ai Marre video and actually heard her sing for the first time and thought, “oh she’s French, that’s cute”. She looked sexy, but I thought whatever, sexy chicks are a dime a dozen. Then I clicked on the La Isla Bonita video… and I was absolutely BLOWN AWAY. First I heard the sweet sound of her voice with that sexy French accent overflowing with emotion; then when she walked onto the stage and looked into the camera for the first time with those deep, dark, seductive eyes… I just melted. At this moment I knew I was really seeing something very special for the first time. I just found out the girl of my dreams actually exists.
Since then I’ve watched, listened to and read everything Alizée. Just when I thought I couldn’t get any more into her, I watched all of her interviews on this site. It was shocking to me that Alizée, someone so famous and beautiful, could be so shy. Quite a change from the mostly loud and self absorbed celebrities that we have over here.
I have never felt so strongly about someone I’ve never met. At least now that I’ve found this site I know I’m not the only one :). By the way, this is the best Alizée site I’ve come across. Nice job Brad.
She is the first thing I think about in the morning and the last thing I think about before I go to sleep at night.
I wonder what my friends will think when they find out I am listening to French pop music?
