My summer vacation ends this Wed on the 23rd! I can't believe it. The ten weeks went by so fast. I'm going into 9th grade, so when do you guys start school. (I know some of you are out of school)

full time school is for the weak, seriously.
I dropped out in grade 11, and I'm finishing highschool part time through correspondence, and I couldn't be happier. I'm taking a (non-highschool related) class in entrepreneurship and I'm starting my own business soon.
I know this is somewhat the opposite of what I should be saying, but school was ruining my life, I wasted too many years in there. I stopped learning from the public school system somewhere around gr 5-7 (there were 3 teachers I had in highschool that were able to actually teach me something), and most of what I have learned in the last few years is self-taught.

I start on september 7th and im going into the 11th grade
startin on weds goin into 9th, and hiby i agree with you, its not that i hate school, its that i think how they teach is stupid
agree or disagree with how they teach, but finish high school. its hard as hell to go back once you stop.

Just have fun with it. I did. Its a hell of a lot better than working everyday. Honestly, Highschool is supposed to be one of the most fun times of your life (until college :D). Don't take it for granted. God, now I sound like my dad.

I graduated from High-School 20 years ago. Two years ago I decided to go back and get my degree. As of tomorrow I'll have my Associates and in two weeks I'll be starting my Bachelors program.
Heh... you guys are talking about just finishing or wanting to finish, and after a twenty year break... I"M GOING BACK!!

Nah, high school SUCKS. College is where it's at. Live it up for those 4-6 yrs, because after that, the real world sucks too.

I hated my high school, but I did not drop out but, I graduated a year early by cramming courses done my throat. No free study periods, all day up to 9 courses a semester. I graduated in my top 10% with a 3.5 so I just didn't pass by to graduate. Then I worked for 3 years and saved my money and then went to college and I paid it off after my 4 years were done so no loans to pay back after I graduated from college.

That's insane! The most classes here are thirty people or more and we only have ~1200 students.

My high school is horrible, all my classes except one have just freshmen in them. The rest have 10th-12th graders! It weird... then we have two different lunch periods so some of my friends can't eat with me! Then I got piled with homework! ON THE FIRST F*CKING DAY
