You may have been logged out/disconnected with the past hour. I'm done restarting the webserver finally!

Also if you receive any errors on any pages that should load up or have loaded up for you in the past please let me know. I've implemented mod_security to prevent future attacks.

I'm a good friend of griz/brad who owns the site :D Just helping out :)

Sometimes, "Cannot find server" comes up, and after refreshing a couple of times you get whatever you wanted on the first place.
But it's all good now.
Hey, is the server in Taxes, Houston?

This may not be related, but I'm getting a lot of "400 Bad Request" errors on alizee-forum (same server), like when trying to edit the calender or respond to certain posts with quotations.

it may be related, mod security locks down a lot of apache functions to prevent many of the exploits in the fanpage and other places. can you send me a link to some of the specific threads / functions you are having problems with?

I'm trying to post to the thread:
http://moi-alizee.us/forums/newreply.php?do=newreply&p=74871
I get:
Bad Request

Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Client sent malformed Host header

<hr> <address> Web Server at moi-alizee.us </address>when hitting preview or submit. I am trying to quote. If I copy that quoted material here, this won't post. Here's what I'm quoting: quote=painbringer;74708 and quote=rcs;74871
I think I know what the problem is. It's when I try to use a C cedilla - non ANSI character.

justchil

Is it still doing that?

Wake up Brad so we can get all the bugs worked out lol. I know legitimate stuff is being blocked because logs are getting so large. Better safe than sorry right now tho!

I'm getting the same error (malformed host header) on several threads when I try to post on them from my home computer. I haven't had that issue from this work computer, though.

The home computer runs Win2K Pro, and this work one runs Win XP, if that makes a difference. Both are IE 6.

Edit: It started doing it at work too :-P

Well, I just quoted someone from this thread: http://moi-alizee.us/forums/showthread.php?p=77684&posted=1#post77684
That person used an e accent aigue, but I had to remove that and the one's I was trying to use before I could post. I tried this in IE7 and Firefox. So, obviously some people can post those characters, but it seems still like that's what's giving me an error.

Here's the error:

Bad Request
Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.

I figured out that it's the all-important "é" in Alizée (in either the title or the body) that is preventing it from being posted.

I've got the logs under control... most everything should be fixed soon. I will have to restart apache probably a dozen times :( I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

The error logs are getting a lot smaller! I'll keep looking for things!

Still getting tons of these when I try to use images, quotes, or anything complicated. It's getting to the point where I have to post everything as simple text first and then go back and edit it (in simple mode, advanced doesn't work either).

I have the same problem, but I wouldn't blame their host provider just yet. At&T which is my internet service provider has been sending me apologies for slow connections. They never apologies the same day though, so I think it's because of something else. In some cases I guess it is, but not all the time... ;)

The site, yes, was down for about 10 hours or so. Since its return, I've noticed that while the server usually took about 10 seconds to respond before I first connected, it now responds as most other websites.

I'm still noticing some long lags in response. Occasionally as long a 30-40 seconds.
