View Full Version : Was Jessica's meeting of Alizée for the better?

I've watched Stars a domicile 2003 with Jessica probably a couple of hundred times. I wish I could bring as much happiness into someones life as Alizée brought into Jessicas that day. I often wondered if they ever got in touch with each other after the meeting on the show. Then a couple of months ago during the pending release of Allizée's new album, a video surfaced that showed Jessica walking down the street with several of Alizée's, I guess can be best described as groupees and as she was walking down the street, Jessica was smoking a cigarette. During the 2003 show Jessica seemed like the sweetest girl in the world. Even after Alizée turned to her and asked if they were going to her house, Jessica turned to her mom to ask if it was okay. I wonder how close their relationship is? I heard Jessica was at the recent autograph session in Paris though I didn't see her. Is Jessica the same sweet girl she was or has she been corrupted by the french version of hollywood?

Well I know Alizée gave Jessica her phone number and they did communicate for a while. Then Alizée had to change her number and they lost touch, I think. As far as I know, Jessica is studying marketing or something like that in college. I'm sure someone else here will know more.

Jessica's myspace page is http://www.myspace.com/oo_zestedefee_oo

She has also posted here on this site before.

Edit: Her screen name is Alizeeclochette and here are a few threads she posted on:

Did you by any chance find out what university she's going to?

A forum member had posted the web address below where Jessica told the story of what went on during the entire day when she first met Alizée. It doesn't seem to be a valid address anymore? Does anyone have a copy of this story with an english translation?

Jessica is still the same Jessica as before, just grown up, much like Alizée is still the same Alizée as before, just grown up.

She was pleasant to chat with at the autograph event, as were all the other fans I ran in to. I'm not sure what sort of "corruption" you have in mind, but I don't think it's an issue.

I find smoking in European countries to be more common than in many areas of North America, much of that being due to a higher-stress environment.

That and the fact there is more advertising there than here. There has been a ban on advertising cigarettes in this country since the 60's. Before then, even Fred Flintstone was seen in a cigarette commercials. But I do believe there is a ban on smoking in public places being issued in France. Not sure if it ever passed or has taken effect.

Yep, I think it is horrible, ok if you're like 75 and have no great plans for life, but 19 ( shes 19, isn't she?) and smokes.
I can actually tell than I know atleast 3 girls i my class that smokes (!) and about a week ago a girl ( not my class though, but is the same grade) collapsed due to heavy intake of liquor, an ambulance came and picked her up...:(
I just can't see the meaning of spoling your life then there is so much else you can do.

It isn't that! bad, alcohol addiction is much worse and I know it well. Anyday I can see more than one alcoholic walking down the street, in my country. Cigarettes are bad because of the unpleasant aroma to nosmokers and bad reputation of addiction and also smoking makes your skin look bad because skin health is related to lungs health(I heard). A girl should never smoke! A natural and balanced man never smokes as a matter of fact. But Jessica looks cool.

Smoking is a disgusting habit and dangerously addictive, as we all know. Severely deleterious to the health as well, especially in the long term. And lastly, it definitely does NOT make someone look "cool" to smoke. (Quite the opposite, actually.)

Well, a lot of big influences of this world had smoked in their lives and did serious drugs on the top of everything. :p
For a loving person this kinds of stuff don't matter, it only should matter to the implied person itself. Of course a smoker should not bother anyone with his ugly habit, never! But if one likes it, he should do until he understands it isn't good for him. It's better than be supressed by most around you who say it's bad when you know you want it. Nicotine(the main thing) isn't bad for one's health, the level of toxic material in cigarettes are and they can not be refined nowadays. These toxines are the one that kill smokers.

I hvnt touched a cigerette in about 2 months... I can definitly tell the difference in lung capacity. I smoked for about over a year, and prior to that i played lacrosse for 4 years. I used to be able to run for so long and now if i try to run far, i feel the tight pressure in my lungs from the destroyed space.

Butttt if im drinking, its nice to have an occassional cigar to add some flavor.

I concur she was crying when she saw Alizée, to tell you the truth she only had tears in her eyes(anyone who has that much love, respect and passion for Alizée is a friend of mine, which is this whole forum haha), where as me???...I will sob when I meet Alizée(IF), Alizée helped me quit the addiction to World of Warcraft and I wish I can give my friends her CD to help them quit WoW or playing videogames for hours a day but they don't like her music. I'm still addicted to WoW - Just got my third toon to 70 - My wife is all in Tier 6 Gear, My son is in full Arena 3 Gear on his Pally, my step-daughter and her husband are hovering around a 2000 pt. rating in their arena and I'm working on leveling my next toon from 35 to 70.

WoW = 15$/month - X 5 accounts = $75.00/month for unlimited entertainment!

Smoking isn't that bad as those uninvolved think. Generally it's quite different.
But I agree that smoking is not pleasant for those around. My grandfather is from 1920, smoked his whole life, although quit some years ago because it was a health bother already(lungs). But today he is overall healthy. Smoking is not the fact of your sooner death, it all depends on who you are altogether.

You know, it's too bad she smokes. She is a very beautiful girl, but ciggarettes subtract major beauty points for me. Not that it is a death for a woman's sex appeal, but I watched my grandfather die due to throat, lung, and mouth cancer. It was said that all came from him smoking from 16 to 70 some. My mom, dad, sister, uncle, all kinds of people smoke. It is certainly a minus, but she is still very appealing to me. Not on Alizée's level, but very high.

Is it really as bad as all that? Maybe it's just because I've been exposed to it all my life (my mother and father have both been smokers since they were in high school, they only recently quit) but smoking really isn't that big a deal. Now, if she constantly had a smoke in hand and had a drinking problem as well, that'd be another matter, but a few cigarettes is really nothing to worry about.

That clip was funny. :)

And the statements you made are exactly the same line of reasoning as presented in the clip.

I suppose I could now defend my presence on this Alizée forum (just like the Senator defended Vermont).

As I said, same line of reasoning. Doesn't change the fact that smoking kills.

I have friends that smoke. They have my sympathy. Many are hopelessly trapped in the habit. They try to quit, over and over. Occasionally one succeeds - most fail.

Many of the forum members here are young enough to stop BEFORE getting hooked. It would be inappropriate of me not to tell a friend that they are headed down a dark road, possibly towards disaster. Then, if they still choose that path, at least I tried. I acted like a friend and did not turn my back or just "go along." :)

Hasseling smokers is hazardous to your health lol!:)

Lol. Nice.

Or I guess it would really be more hazerdous to their health wouldn't it? Those of us who don't smoke can present statistics and whatever we want. We can try to ask them to quit. But in the end the smoker has to have a real reason for theirself to quit.

I say if that is a person's choice to do that, then thats what they do. I don't do it and that's mine. I mean, how would it make those of us who don't smoke feel if we had people asking us ALL the time to smoke? or ask us about our "addictions"? Same concept, most would get annoyed by the people and get to where we really don't hear them and go about our business. Plus, us annoying the smokers about it will just cause stress and lead to more smoking.

I think the best thing to do, if we really don't want them to do it, is to just put the information out there of what happens to you when doing it and hope for the best... Or tax the crap out of cigarettes :p lol

I do believe Jessica's meeting of Alizée was for the better. Alizée brought so much happiness to Jessica. As for the smoking and corruption and such...

Is Jessica the same sweet girl she was or has she been corrupted by the french version of hollywood?

i dont think smoking can be comparable to being addicted to alizee. if someone likes alizee, it doesnt interfere with what any1 else does. but if someone smokes, ppl in the area who dont smoke would be forced to inhale that stuff. say, if ur waiting for a bus and some1 smokes around you, etc. if u think u can compare smoking with being addicted to a music artist, ur not very smart.

Oh but you have my good friend. You have brought happiness to many lives:)

Oh and the thing that stinks is Jessica doesn't even list Alizee in the "Music" section of her profile:( I guess she grew up too:o

She is the one person that I would almost be happy to hear you say that about. She was so over the edge at one point that, for her at least, that would actually be a good sign. :)

I was wondering also why Jessica doesn't have Alizee listed in her music section of her web page. Does she no longer listen to Alizee?

Ah ok then. She is probably one of those that don't like UEDS too much...thats why ALizee prob isn't in her music section. But her being a top friend makes up for it.
