Really no new information in the interview, but here is my translation:
"D: Thank you Alizee for granting an interview to "Dosiz" which is the first Mexican magazine to have contact with you.
A: Thank you.
D: Why did you select "Mademoiselle Juliette" as your first single from your new CD "Psychédélices"?
A: It was for the analogy in the love story of "Romeo and Juliet" by William Shakespeare that I love, I chose it for that reason.
D: How did you choose the 11 songs on the album?
A: My co-workers and I decided, each of us listened to them, and after we voted on which ones we would record.
D: How much have you evolved from Moi Lolita to Mademoiselle Juliette?
A: Primarily, I have matured a lot; when I began my career, people decided things for me, now I make those decisions and everything that has to do with my career.
D: How much time did it take you do record the album?
A: It was two years on all of the production. Recording, producing, the art design...in short, all of the work that went into this album.
D: By the way, what is the reason for the name of the album?
A: Because I make reference to the stories that come in the CD; because they are unreal stories, I invite everyone that listens to the album to go on an imaginary trip with me.
D: On the CD, there is a song named "Lilly Town" and I know that that is your nickname. Did you base the song on your nickname?
A: Well, I'm called Lilly or Alizee, but that doesn't have anything to do with the song.
D: Can you talk a little bit about who you worked with on the album?
A: Jean Fauque wrote some of the songs, Daniel Darc, Fred Lo, the rapper Oxmo Puccino together with Jeremy Chatelain created the music.
D: In Mexico, you have many fans, are you planning to visit us this year?
A: Yes, I know that I have many fans because they send me many messages on Myspace. This year I will be with all of you and I hope to take advantage of traveling and getting to know as much of Mexico as I can.
D: Tell me 5 things that are important in your life.
A: Umm... number 1: my family, my job, traveling, shopping and returning home.
D: What sport do you like?
A: It's not exactly a sport, but I love dancing.
D: What is your favorite food?
A: Paella
D: Do you have any fears?
A: Spiders.
D: And your favorite clothing?
A: Dresses.
D: What TV series do you like?
A: "Six Feet Under"
D: What music do you listen to?
A: The Gorillaz, Gwen Stefani, Daft Punk, The Killers and Madonna.
D: How come on your album there are songs with titles in English and songs in your language?
A: I don't speak English, I understand a little but I am studying. I have already used words in English several times because I believe that this helps me to understand the songs.
D: Are you thinking of learning Spanish?
A: They taught me a little in school, but I already forgot, ha, ha.
D: What music did you listen to when you were little?
A: My parents used to have a lot of Madonna and the Beatles and I like them a lot.
D: What message do you give to people that want to get into the music business?
A: Work very hard and always believe in yourself.
D: Is there a dream you have that you haven't fulfilled yet?
A: To sing with Madonna.
D: What message do you give all of your Mexican fans before you visit?
A: I want to thank them for all of their support and for the messages that they write to me. Please forgive me because I cannot respond to all of them, but we will see each other in Mexico soon.
D: A thousands thanks (thank you very much) from "Dosiz" and we hope to see you soon.
A: See you later and thank you very much."

Without recording for more than three years she comes back full of hopes and responsabilities in her career, one of the singers more espected in the whole country. Voice, beauty, charisma and a mixture of sensuality and innocence together in the singer more expected in recent times. Alizée talks us about her new production, future plans, tastes and her next visit to México.
D: Thanks Alizée for granting an interview to us "Dosiz de diversión" ( = "dose of fun") and letting this to be the first mexican magazine that makes contact with you.
A: Merci à vous.
D: Why did you select Mademoiselle Juliette to be the first song to promote your new album "Psychédélices"?
A: Because of the analogy in the love story between Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare that I love, that's why I chose it.
D: How did you choose the 11 songs of the album?
A: My co-workers and I decided it, everyone listened the songs and then we voted which of them would we record.
D: How much have you evolved from Moi Lolita to Mademoiselle Juliette?
A: Mainly I have matured a lot; when I started my career people decided for me, now it's me who take those decisions and everything related to my career.
D: How much time did it take you to record the album?
A: Two years the whole production. Recording, producing, art design... everything that took part of the disc.
D: By the way, why the name of the album?
A: Because I make reference to the stories that come in the CD; because they are not true stories, so I invite everybody to listen and make an imaginary journey with me.
D: In the album there is a song called Lilly Town and we know that this is your nickname, -- I don't understand the question, it's wrong, maybe means: "Did you make the song because of your nickname?" but it doesn't make sense to me. -- ¿La pensaste por tu apodo?
A: Well, they keep saying me Lilly or Alizée but that doesn't have anything to do with the song.
D: Can you talk a little about your co-workers?
A: Jean Fauque wrote the lyrics, Daniel Darc, Fred Lo, the rapper Oxmo Puccino and Jérémy Châtelain wrote the music.
D: In México you have a lot of fans, Is visiting us this year on your schedule?
A: Yes, I know that I have a lot of fans because they send me a lot of messages to MySpace. This year I will be with you, I hope I can visit and get to know more México once I get there, I promise.
D: Tell me 5 things that are important in your life.
A: Mmmm... Number one my family, my profession, travelling, shopping and being at home.
D: What sport do you like?
A: It's not precisely a sport, but I love dancing.
D: What is your favorite meal?
A: Paella. -- I think you'll know what it is, maybe it has a different name in English.
D: Any phobia?
A: To spiders.
D: Your favorite clothes?
A: Dresses.
D: What is your favorite tv show?
A: "Six Feet Under".
D: What music do you listen?
A: Gorillaz, Gwen Stefani, Daft Punk, The Killers and Madonna.
D: Why there are songs with titles in English but written in French in your album?
A: I don't speak English, I understand a little but I'm learning, I have used several words in English because I think that helps people learn the songs.
D: Will you learn Spanish?
A: They taught me a little at school but I forgot already, ha ha.
D: What music did you listen to when you were a child?
A: My parents listened Madonna and The Beatles a lot, and I liked very much.
D: What would you say to the people that want to enter the music world?
A: Work hard and always believe in yourself.
D: Is there any dream left that you haven't acomplished yet?
A: Singing with Madonna.
D: What message do you give the mexican people before your visit?
A: I want to thank you for you support and messages you write to me; I'm sorry I cannot reply to everyone, but see you soon in México!
D: Thanks in name of "Dosiz de Diversión" we hope to see you soon.
A: Bye and thanks a lot.

I think the part about the paella is new, and the list of 5 important things is new. (It used to be curry chicken back when she was like 16 IIRC). Also, yes, it's called paella in English.
Thanks!

I can't help but feeling a little bit snubbed. Sorry, but that's just the way I feel.
I know what you mean, Rocket. I think of it more like rejection than snubbing. It’s like when you really adore someone but they don’t even know you exist. You feel rejection even though you haven’t actually been rejected. Sometimes I do have those feelings too, but I know she is within her rights to decide where to promote herself and I think she does appreciate us. She probably doesn’t think there are enough of us to warrant a visit. She said she hasn’t forgotten about her fans in the US, but I think she just doesn’t know a practical way (in her mind) to reach out to us.
I think Alizée has never had plans to promote herself and her music in the US or Mexico. The fact that she got popular in Mexico through no effort of her own has made her change her mind about visiting there. I think if the same thing happened in the US she would also decide to come here, but she’s not going to try to make it happen on her own.
Before she heads back home from Mexico, it would be nice if she would just make one stop in the US and appear on a TV show for one performance or a short interview. It may not help her career, but it would be a very kind and generous thing to do and would mean a lot to US fans. An act of good will couldn’t hurt.
Regardless, I’m happy for Mexico. The fans there have earned a visit from Alizée and I’m glad there are going to get it.
