Hey guys. I haven't seen decent photos of these floating around here yet, so I figured I'd post them from my collection. These are the "promo" version of the Fifty-Sixty single (similar to the single-color promo versions of MJ), and a high-gloss Plan Media for Fifty-Sixty

The PM comes with a small clear sticky piece holding it closed. When cut, it tends to rest in a "tent" position, allowing it to be set up for display.

That is a really cool CD. Superficial as they are, things like this and vinyl picture discs are what will save physical media.

If his dealer (lol, how sketchy does that sound?) is French Pops, then too much, especially for shipping. Though I myself am also guilty of picking up this (too nice to pass) and a few other items from the guy.

Latest check, about 45 euros + 7 euros for shipping. Other sellers may be cheaper than 'Frenchpops' though.

He's one of them, to be sure! Shipping is way too expensive, true, but I justify it by buying lots of stuff at once, as additional items are free. His stuff always come in factory mint condition, and tend to arrive quite rapidly.

That's for France. It's actually a whopping 22 euros for America. Don't get me wrong, he is a good "premium" seller for the reasons Cooney mentioned. But I've received items faster for a third that much. Not that I think it's a rip off, his shipping methods are just overkill.

If dealers are honest about shipping, you can often get it for cheaper. I once ordered a CD in a jewel case with €5 shipping. Since I knew it was possible to do it for less, I complained, and he gave me shipping for whatever I recalled it to be last time. However, when going to the post office, he found that it was even cheaper, and gave me a partial refund for that difference. The CD arrived just as fast as any other. I'm not exactly sure, but the result shipping cost for me was something like €2!

Dang it Cooney, I've the collecting bug but I must resist the urge to scratch the itch. I've already spent a bit this week on a couple of items (and I still need to send my donation money to this site). But yeah, those shipping costs really stacks up! :(

A couple of pals of mine, who know of my Alizée interest, headed out of town for Valentine's Day. They went to a place up near the Canadian border, where they ran across a news stand selling French magazines. Among them was the Alizée FHM. Not only did they recognize her from seeing my collection, they bought it for me and brought it back as a totally unexpected present. I've got it now on my Fifty-Sixty shelf, as the photos match. Woot!
