Very difficult to say, but I think so. Brazil has lots of beautiful women, everybody knows about it, but in my opinion Alizée wins.

I'll give you mine, though: no. Alizée is not the world's most beautiful woman. Her appeal is more complex than that. At least half of it is her personality, and that amplifies her physical beauty, too, the two not being really separate. Her face is animated. Photographs catch it in interesting, endearing, sometimes amusing expressions. There's intelligence in her eyes. She's a bit of a clown sometimes. :wub:

Strip her of all that so all you have is face and figure, make her as wooden and boring as a lot of fashion models, then compare her to those same fashion models and she wouldn't come out ahead.

This is true, take away her music and her personality and you're left with a beautiful woman but nothing truly special. This is the case with anybody, her personality indeed amplifies her physical beauty. But for the record, she is the most beautiful woman I have come across.

The thing is that there is not the most beautiful...for me at least...women are so different from each other, I just can't say that this is the most beautiful, or that is the most beautiful. It's like choosing your favorite kid, you just can't. By the way, Alizee was so much more attractive on her first "era"...if I didn't know who she was and I saw her on the street, as she looks today, I probably wouldn't be that amazed.

You know what i like, besides the looks, is that Alizee can be very confident in some settings. I remember vaguely an interview session that showed her in a dancing studio practicing. Alizee seemed to be in her element and very confident and proud of herself.

I find that to be really attractive. When she acts like that it seems like she could take on the world if she wanted to. Too bad though she is usually quite modest and well mannered - although that's really not that bad of a trait. So even when i criticize her its for being too nice - kinda a paradox. :D

Not only would I state that, but I have stated it in past threads.
But for those who haven't read those past threads, I'll gladly state it again.
Keep in mind that we all see things differently, and what I have seen in my experiences, may not be what others have seen, and vice versa. However, being that I can only state things from my perspective...

Alizée is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in any media, print, picture, or in person in my entire life. At this point, I would also state that to me, personally, Alizée is what I consider to be the perfect woman, and the most beautiful on earth, in my humble opinion.

This beauty includes her personality, talent, brains, manners, classiness, sense of humor, and all other traits that go into adding to the attractiveness of a person that help to make her so desired.

I am actually reading a book right now called Jane Eyre (forced to by my teacher). Kinda weird how it seems to apply right now, but in the book Jane is falling in love with a man who is a ugly man but because of his personality his faults seem to disappear and he is a beautiful man to her.

So with that in mind, Alizée is a beautiful woman that is further enhanced because of her personality. That is why to some others seem may seem the most beautiful. Then again beauty is in the eye of the beholder isn't it?

Bingo. There are plenty of beautiful women out there, enough that claiming a "most beautiful" is nigh impossible. I haven't seen another person who looks as good as Alizée that also has the personality to at least equal their beauty. In my eyes, she is the most beautiful.

This thread reminds me of a girlfriend I had many years ago, wonderful sweet woman but a bit self-conscious about her appearance. She would ask me sometimes whether this or that other woman was more beautiful than she was, and I, being young and quite remarkably stupid, would answer honestly. It didn't matter to me! I would much rather have someone smart, good-hearted, and insightful than someone drop-dead gorgeous. But it bothered her.

So the lesson is, be careful when you're asked whether someone important to you is "the most beautiful woman in the world." Honesty is NOT always the best policy. ;)

I meant she was beautiful as in her looks, success, personality, ect, but we can't exactly say she is the most beautiful on Earth because we haven't exactly seen or met every women on this planet Not saying we can't think Alizee is the most beautiful girl on Earth thats ones own opinion and I personally think she is most likely one of the better women out there that I seen. I wish I could change my mind that easily. I've been into Alizèe for about 3 years now and I still feel the same way about her. Even in pictures where she looks like she just woke up and didn't even wash or anything yet, I still think she's beautiful. So far no one else I've seen has peaked my interest anywhere near as much as Alizèe has. This goes far beyond any standard crush I used to have. I don't think I've ever felt this way about anyone.

I think this has to do with the fact that it's not just her looks I like. It can be the worst picture in the world, but as long as I know it's her, I think back to how awesome her personality is and I love her in spite of how bad others may think she looks.

@Rictor: I was sure from the very beginning that it won't last that long for me. If she didn't have anything else than a pretty face I'd probably not be a fan anymore when I stop seeing her as the most beautiful woman. Luckily I know enough about her to prevent that from happening.

I can only give you one piece of advice that you've heard a million times: get a girlfriend soon. One that can understand your obsession and not be bothered by it. If you don't want that for now, you can search for stuff from other girls (singers, actresses). The worst thing you can do is to spend all your free time watching Alizée's videos because you'll never be able to change anything,

When I saw Alizee in J' An Marrie I thought she was most beoutiful woman ever but after seeing Gourmandise she looks so plain, I think the colr of her skin changed wiht the lighting.

Ofalizée, if you are refering to the mv of Gourmandises, I would actually agree with you to some degree. Her skin was a bit too dark in some shots of it, and the parts where she was running around and such, she actually looked different. But when she was on the picnic blanket, and just smiling at the camera and singing, she was as beautiful as ever. But Alizée's skin complexion looks amazing, she is not one of those girls who looks better with a tan. Which comes from her just being very naturally beautiful. Nothing needs to altered. Which also why she looks best with simple hairdos, with it down, or in a regular ponytail.

I watched and I felt myself being drawn to the others, Im not trying to be mean; even when I saw Lolita I didn't say "wow she's so beautiful ".

So I ask myself why J 'An Marre

(1) The Lighting ---Like a soap opera lighting. It complements her skin tone well ; gives it an orange like glow.

(2)The Color Scheme---

Outfit -Not everyone looks good in black but with Alizee it matches her dark eyes and hair and her natural tan skin.

Backround colors--
You might laugh but color has effect on the psych.

Purple and that blue, Britney Spears wore it in " Born to Make you Happy " watch she looks so pretty ,right?

Indeed, more than three years after discovering Alizée (for me)... to original post: Yes on all counts.
I knew it back then... Seeing Alizée sing and dance for the first time, it was like some telepath had read my mind for my ideal woman and projected her into reality. And after coming to love Alizée the person, as long as she's still Alizée (which would be very strange if she stopped being Alizée :P), she'll always be the most beautiful possible in my eyes. Granted, that doesn't prevent me from finding other women exceedingly beautiful. But it was a pretty trippy experience to realize that at a finite moment in time, prior to to what I expect to be a third of my years, I had met (for me) the most beautiful woman in the world... ever.
