When I ordered Psychedelices from Amazon.fr, I had to pay a duty ($30) on top of the price of the CD and shipping. I received a letter a while after the CD with information regarding the duty payment.

I got En Concert from Amazon.fr too, but with no duty required. Have others had to pay a duty like that before? I'd love to have the magazine, but extra large fees aren't particularly stimulating.

Amazon.fr is identical to Amazon.com.

Make an account using Amazon.com and then use that account to log into Amazon.fr.
Next, pretend to buy something on Amazon.com- do everything except for the final step. Since the web sites are the same, you can follow along with the magazine on Amazon.fr. Ideally you can perform the entire operation this way.
Translating portions of the web page never work out quite the way you would hope, but it could be useful if there is an input field whose purpose you're not sure of.

The main thing is that Amazon.fr needs the same information that any American web site would, so it should be free of surprises especially if you map the steps to those on Amazon.com.
