Unfortunately back to lipsyncing. Was a pretty good performance I guess, but it's hard to watch her lipsync when she just performed the same song live, and did it very well. It just feels kind of pointless to me.

I'm not in the camp that have expressed a dislike of her outfits (mostly the "baby doll dresses", it seems). In fact, I much prefer what she's wearing these days compared to the MF/LB era and I think she has a great sense of fashion for the most part (some outfits though, like that white hoodie with stars and stuff, I don't care for too much). With this said, I have to ask: white/green sneakers to that black dress? Eeeek! :eek:

Yeah, I'd say Lili and her people were definitely paying attention. Virtually every critique I've read about the Moscow show and her Acoustic appearance was addressed here in spades--she smiled, she danced, she looked at the camera (And what a look! Le sigh!), she got the audience into it, and most importantly, she seemed pretty pumped herself.

So very nice to see her shedding off her nervousness/hesitancy and getting back into the swing of things. The Mexico shows are definitely gonna kick some serious booty, if this is any indication of things to come.

Totally with the different hairdo, I never did like her L'Alize hair, and she sure didn't upset a couple years on. However I think since we're not even half through the year yet, she's got a lot of time on her hands to do whatever she wants.

Curly/wavy's not here to stay, she's a woman after all, she wakes up in the morning and combs it to whatever shape she feels fit! :D

There was definitely a much better vibe to this than other recent performances. She looked great, was dancing around and having fun and I really enjoyed it.

My one gripe is the lip-synching. She has energy and dances like this AND sings live it will be perfect.

Lets not get into the lip-syncing again.. lol. She probably did not have much choice in it. France seems to have a huge number of these music shows on TV compared to the U.S. and to keep up with it all they lip-sync. It's just the way it is over there and we just have to deal with it.

It is very nice to see her treating the camera as a person again. Alizee has always had perfect eye-camera-eye contact that many actors and actresses would kill for.

The show kinda messed it up in a few spots by switching to a different camera while she was looking at another one. They should stick to the camera Alizee is looking into more often. I wonder is she has any say over the final editing of a show like this?

Well... While Alizee's new album is good music, especially by American standards lately, it is not a very upbeat type of album. It has a kind of hrmmm.. can't put it into words at the moment. lol

It is also very difficult to market because it is eclectic. It is always hard to get something so mixed in genres to be a big success regardless of if it is music, movies, books, etc.

There is nothing wrong with experimenting and mixing a bunch of genres together, but it will cost you. When she makes her 4th album she really needs a tight focus if she wants the type of success she has had in the past.
