It's not fake. It's from the concert in Reims, where she was wearing contact lenses. That and a lot of other hijinks went on because it was the last show of the tour (not counting the special engagement at Paris Zenith one month later).

Hey Snatcher, for some of our new Alizee fans, can you clarify whether Lili needed contacts, as opposed to just experimenting with a new look? I can recall a thread stating Lili wore glasses. Plus, I have seen her wearing them. These are new photos for me too.

They say that a the TV camera puts 10-20 pounds on a person. So, if someone wants to look good on camera they often have to keep themselves on the thin side. As Paris is especially thin conscious, she has little choice but to keep herself very thin.

Oui same thing happens to my hair in the summer and the winter here in NY. My hair is dark brown in the winter and then it gets lighter. I think it is pretty cool though.

That being the case, do you see that the fact she shuttles between Corsica and Paris doesn't mean there's anything seriously wrong with her relationship with Jérémy, it's just typical of how she is?

To me Alizee doesn't look mature as other girls her age. I mean I've seen around me a lot of girls at 16 that looked older, and they were mentally mature as well, you could say it by their behaviour.
Alizee on the other hand is a baby face, one moment you look at her and see a sweet adolescente in there, other moments she is more mature. It's the innocent touch and purity that she genuinely possesses and it's what got me glued to Alizee at first sight, then it merged into her musical talents and personality charm that got me overkilled and today I'm still charmed, totally! And just look at her name- Alizée, sexy and respectful all at once.

Exactly !! The point is that some people want her to be more mature no matter what, to be able to say that she's no longer a lolita, so much so that they'll see & say whatever... I disagree with your analogy Deep, in some cases you're actually more confident when your more ignorant to the threat or fear of failure for example. I remember when I was younger which was not to long ago, and I was fearless. Now that I'm aware of the consequences of certain actions I'm not so fearless, I take precautions. Further more, I always saw Lili with great confidence then, unlike the look of fear in her eyes when she started this again. It's now that she's starting to become more confident. Remember back then she only had to worry about her own performance, now she's got more on her plate... I see, so everybody else's opinion is purely superficial, except for yours of course. Too bad not everybody agrees with you, that's why some of her close fans have left, and the ones that remain are not as enthusiastic as they would like to be (think close). Many websites have closed, and myspace accounts have been deleted. All the ones that have given a reason have said three things, 1) they don't like the music as much and 2) they don't like her new image. And 3) they were expecting a more mature look. I'm sure you think all their opinion is wrong, and coincidental. But one test I made which consisted of people that had never seen or heard of her before proves my point: I took my (86 yr) mother for a regular hospital / clinic visit which consisted of her primary doctor, 3 specialist and a lab analysis. Without exaggerating I spent over 5 hours waiting for her. Fortunate for me I brought along my laptop, and my collection of Alizée performances. During the course of my waiting period, I was able to share the videos with 9 individuals both women and men. Some at different times of my waiting period. They all thought the same thing, that she was gorgeous and very talented. Also they all thought that the videos from "Gourmandises" was first, the videos from "Psychedelices" came second, and the videos from "Mes Courants Electriques" came third. Do you understand the point, they all thought that she looked more mature three years ago when performing "MCE". I showed them the videos in no particular order, they were all shuffled... I rest my case. :) By the way I made other tests with friends.

If you know a little bit of french you can see in the last TVshow she was part of how she gets comments that she hasn't grown very much. It was not much of a compliment, or on the opposite- disregard to her maturity, but a simple observation. And I totally agree! :)

Exactly what the words mean, she doesn't look more mature as some of you have been trying to portray her.... Note the discussion is not whether she's more mature or not, it's whether she looks more mature now. Therefore when taking in consideration her looks you have to look at every aspect and not just her poise or her gestures. Everything is considered including her hair, her dressware and everything that makes her new look. She dresses in little girl outfits or bordello outfits that because of her petit figure make it look like little girl outfits (sorry Ali). Her hair also contributes in making her look younger, she looks like a teenybopper with that combination of hair and outfits. In her MCE era she pretty much already looked like a young women, therefore her come back was expected to look even more mature. That's why when you apply for a top grade job, they take in consideration the way you dress, your resume and portfolio, and now even your credit report, and not just your facial expressions. is this your only evidence ?? Deepwaters' assessment is right on the money, just thought I would include that since people aren't throwing much respect that way.

A few people are saying Alizee's hair is not as mature looking as it was before...I don't see how that is possible since before she either had it loose fluffy and free (not professional), gelled and parted down the middle (a standard young girl's style, not professional), or that one crazy haircut she had for a small period that nobody liked.

Now she has a style that is parted to one side, is very neat and precise, isn't filled up with gel, and is very suitable for any woman going to a high paying professional job every day. Oh and also she was going for a new style to separate her from the past lolita image....I'd like to see you guys find a style better and more naturally elegant than her current one.

As for her clothes....she is an entertainer/musician! It is almost required that she not wear normal bland conservative clothing. And even with that said her style isn't outrageous at all.

You are correct for the most part, especially for those is cities. If fact, there are several different movements from "back to nature" type movements to spiritual focuses like "Creation Based Spirituality" that attempt to re-emphasize ones connection with nature.
