After creating the concentrated win known as Alizée, you can't expect to have any left, so why try?

I like the song.
As for the girl, she acted in "Jacquou le Croquant" movie, I think. :)

I listened to Drôle de Creepie. I can tell the melody is from MF and LB but the vocals sound very high pitch to me. I just don't get the same feeling I got from listening to Gourmandises and Mes Courants Electriques.

That's a good thing to me, they are different but I like her singing and his music. BTW if you didn't check the movie, it is good, a bit sad though. :)

Great job Espire! Where did you find inspiration to create this nice musical composition? :p

Lisa is apparently Mylène's niece.

I really could imagine this being a huge hit; that is, if Mylène was singing it. To be honest, this girl's voice squeals and grates and annoys the heck out of me.

I listened to it a second time. I admit, It's starting to grow on me haha.

Eh, the music is alright, but the voice just annoys me. But, honestly, what can you expect from an eleven year old girl? Hopefully, people in France are reminded of how special and talented Alizée was (not to jinx or condemn Lisa's career, I hope she does well).

The song is not half as catchy as "Moi Lolita" and the girl is just too young (11??). Not good.

Lisa (and this song) is for a quite different target audience, so it is pointless to compare.
Excellent and typical Boutonnat, I'd say.;)

I don't like her. She could try to usurp Alizée. She is a threat.

Come on, you really think so? For one, she is eleven, so it'll be difficult to attract certain demographics. Oh, and there's the fact that it is impossible to have the indescribable beauty, singular personality, incredible talent, breathtaking showmanship, kindness and intelligence (shall I continue :D ) of Alizée. Lili is one in a million - I doubt we'll have to worry about any "usurpers." Sure, she may be more popular than Lili for a time in France, but will she be able to reach out and captivate people countries, cultures, continents away as Lili has? I don't think so.

...Unless her voice is a mixture of Fergie and Jesus (sorry, "Step Brothers" reference) :D .

I just found this thread and my god.. is this a reason for her departure from Mylene Farmer and Laurent Boutonnat, Alizee was small at the time, every little girl wants to be sexy ok.. she grew up and didn't want that anymore, than with a child she doesn't want it to be an influence.

On the other hand, I can still picture her singing this song and dancing a lot better. If anyones good with music try cutting out the voice and add some better ones, see how it works out.

The song's actually not as bad I thought it would be.. though she's how old? Too young for me to take seriously.. What's up with MF picking up such young proteges? Not that I'm complaining with Alizée. Just saying.

Just a few things to clarify, as far as I know Lisa was never officially announced as the next protégé by Mylène in the sense of taking Alizée's place though it would be a possibility in the near future. It was all media hype and speculations. She was only used this one time thus far to produce a theme song for a cartoon show, which is the reason for her costume style and make-up. Of course in the process Mylène provided her niece with a start in the music industry, in essence she has lounged her as a singer that is what the press was saying among other things ;-)

Though she has been around even before this: She started dancing at the age of 5 and in 2004 at age 7 she had a part in the ballet "Le Songe de Médée" at the Opéra Garnier. In 2006 she played a part in the film "Jacquou le Croquant" by Laurent Boutonnat. In 2008 is when she recorded the single "Drôle De Creepie" which is the theme song for the animated cartoon. The lyrics were written by Mylène and the music was composed by Laurent Boutonnat, but the video was directed by Benoît Di Sabatino (Mylène's other partner). By the way the song peaked at No.6 on the French Singles Chart (SNEP) in September of 2008 ;-)

We're talking about a cartoon theme song by an 11 year old lol... I won't speculate on what her future holds, like I said nothing was said officially so we don't know what her plans are. She did say that she would like to learn how to play the electric guitar and she is Mylène's niece, so anything is possible ;-) Her website after the single was released though I don't think it has been updated since. http://lisa-lesite.artistes.universalmusic.fr/

Ahh, I feel like this is not to be taken very seriously. She's 11 and it's only a song for a cartoon. It's silly to compare her to somebody who's been singing, dancing, and performing for most of her life like Alizee. :p

Man... this song was stuck in my head ALL DAY today

and I come home to listen to it and I think to myself "why the hell did I like it? it's not that good of a song, and it wasn't sung that well either"

that made me laugh so hard I collapsed on the floor into a quivering, flatulating mass

Edit:

I don't understand it...

The video itself isn't all that well done,
Lisa's voice really doesn't fit the song (it's quite remarkable, Gourmandzée's low and sultry tones would fit PERFECTLY)

yet I've watched it almost as many times as I watched that boxxy video (fuck all of you who posted it)

My thoughts exactly- MCE, just barely too grown-up; Psyche, wayyyy different style; UEdS.. well.

Gourmandises = perfect! Personally I would've preferred it in place of Abracadabra. :p

About a year ago Aron14 started a thread on Lisa Gautier called Mylène's latest protégé (http://alizeeamerica.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5561). It contains some informative material.

The $64,000 question is this: Can she out-Goth Wednesday Addams (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wednesday_Addams)? Wednesday's favorite toy is her Marie Antoinette doll, which her brother guillotined.
