"L'engouement des mexicains à l'égard de la Fée Clochette n'est pas prêt de s'arrêter ! Après un accueil triomphal lors de sa première visite en mars et divers projets avec de grandes marques, Alizée pourrait bientôt apparaitre en guest star dans une série mexicaine : Las tontas no van al cielo. Plus d'infos prochainement."

Translation:
"The Mexican infatuation with 'Tinkerbell' isn't near stopping! After a triumphant reception during her first visit in March and various projects with big brand names, Alizée would soon be able to appear as a guest star in the Mexican series "Las tontas no van al cielo [Foolish women don't go to heaven]."

If Alizée acts in a Mexican tv show, I wouldn't doubt if many of us Americans have easy access to it!

Holy crud! Now that is something I must...gasp!

She might have cameos sometime here and there, I say we find Spielberg, tie him up in some van down by some river, make him watch every single Alizée video on this site, and then release him.

It won't be long til we see an Alizée cameo/role in some hit movie :p

I doubt that this is going to be any more than either an exclusive background performance or an extremely short appearance. Remember, Alizée is acting, not Alizée is acting.

Yeah, I think this is right on. It's probably more of a promotional cameo appearance than anything serious.

Just curious: has Lili ever even expressed an interest in branching out to acting in film/television/whatev?

I think she showed some open interest in a James Bond Girl role. I mean she has a song called JBG, with an opening ever so similar to a James Bond theme.

I cannot remember where exactly, I read an old (2003 or so) article in which she stated that she wouldn't mind acting in a film as a love interest or James Bond girl. I don't think this is any longer relevant.

In a Russian interview from May she did state this (the translation has an accent, haha):

"Q: Of what you dream?
A: I want is acted in film. I know, that it is very heavy.
The talent is required. Whether I do not know there is it at me. If will offer the scenario, I agree.I agree to play together with Shonom Penn and Denzel Washington. (Laugh)."

My personal opinion here, Tontas no van al cielo blah blah, that has got to be the most stupid soap opera ive ever seen...as you can see im no fan of mexican soap operas...anyway, if this gives lily a push in Mexico, so be it, but really that novela or soap opera is dumb, superficial and lacks values.

By the way, im going to the last concert in MTY :)

For those not in the know, there were rumours a while back about Alizée making a cameo appearance on a Mexican TV show. This would appear to be it, along with an interview with Alizée.

Did they accidently spell her name wrong? As the lady gets up and the guy pulls her down, the spanish subtitles spell it Alizze.

I believe the subtitles were fat-fingered wrong. But, you get the idea. Yes, Lili is herself in the soap. Also, we're not likely to know who the actors are unless we lived in Mexico. But, I could swear I saw the couple standing outside the Puebla concert before doors opened. They had a look about them that I thought they were news anchorman just by the their clothes, bleached smiles, and overall appearance. They caught my attention a few times.
