I swear that we had a translated version of this interview on this site. It looks so familiar. Any help?

Canadian french really does not sound anything like french french...

I realize this is off topic, but it is really apparent in this interview. I had the tv on listening to a few people, and I cannot understand a word they are saying on TV. I do, however, pick up a word or two out of each of Alizee's sentences.

Accents ftl.

Lucky, you can atleast pick out words, I can't even do that:o .

But with aFrenchie at our side, no worries.

I've been aggressively studying french, heh..

I can read it relativley well, I can write it with a dictionary nearby, I can understand bits and pieces of spoken word, but I cannot speak it worth @#%^.

It's been ~4 months now, while I have come along a little bit, this is just taking forever...

i can understand a lot of her interviews now, only because she is basically asked the same questions in each interview. it is pretty neat to be able to listen to her, and understand a lot of what she is saying.

I remember when I first saw the fun tv interview, before I discovered the subtitles .. I had never really listened to anyone speak more than a few words of French at one time. I didn't understand one word, but she sounded so great.
