The Winds (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=1KKBEBMZ)

This was a spur of the moment song really. I decided to make it a progressive jazz style, so I improvised a solo to last through out the song. Improvised the bassline, and just added a syncopated swing drum style.

Scribbled some lyrics, thought they made sense, and here we are, my first RECORDED song dedicated to Alizée. :)
Be judgeful please :)

Blowing, the wind from the sky
Ever, floating above my eyes

She moves to me, so endlessly she comes
She says to me, her words of enchantment calm
She freely weaves, my pictures and dreams, very
The tradewind sings, and flies away 'cross the sea

Great guitar licks, bass play and drum action. Definitely jazz influenced. To me your synthesized voice didn't match the jazz sound. I would prefer a more natural sound. All in all great job though Mr. Barrett:)

Hm,
I thought my voice was bad in the natural overtone that I played it in. I experimented with echo with a short delay and I thought it would match the texture I tried to piece in.

But yeah, this isn't my singing style, then again, I don't have mine. I rip my singing style from Mikael Åkerfeldt. :D

I think you have a good idea going here. I would expand on it if I were you. I think you should add another verse and possibly some kind of bridge.

Great song. Great guitar work especially. Good job can't wait to hear the next one (if you make another).
