aAfrenchie.. what does it mean when Alizee says, " merci avou ". Is she saying.. thank YOU after hearing... thank you for being here? Alot of times I hear the word.. merci followed by... merci avooo

Also... when Alizee says.. eeuhh before she speaks, is that like us Americans saying..uh or um?

It was posted here, with translations and everything:

And I think Alizée says "Merci à vous" (Formal way to refer you. Informal/friendly way would be "merci à toi") in that part what you mean. It means "thank you".

Thanks for the videos, but I agree with Moe, we need to use the word 'new' properly.

i dont speak french, and don't know if this is correct, but I would say the 'e' sound you are hearing is her saying 'and' so it is like she is saying .. 'and uhhh'

As RMJ said, it's "Merci à vous". So I'd say "Merci" = "Thank you" ; "Merci à vous " = "Thanks to you"

Maybe you should point me to a video precisely. But I think that's what you spell as "uh" indeed.
