No. She does know some English, but it's not fluent. Her English is good enough to read this forum, but not good enough to easily carry on a conversation. (At this point, I believe my French is somewhat better than her English, and I am not fluent in French.)

However, I think we all should encourage her. She has the basics, and just needs to immerse herself in a country where English is spoken for a while, in order to master the language.

Can anyone suggest a country that fits that description? :cool:

1. Good question. If she ever comes to the states or canada, should happen around next 2 years, I hope. She got everything for coming here, though its her decision.
2. Lilly is her nickname, you should watch some interviews, I recommend you the funTv interview ;)
3. Personally my fav JEAM is the "older" one, for me nothing beats the original one. And my fav JEAM performance is the en concert one ;)

Don't know but I know she was interviewed and she said Lili.
Can't tell you the interview because I don't know where it is but I remember it.
I use Lili all the time and so do many fans. Unless we are all wrong.

I use Lili all the time, too, because that's how it was spelled in the subtitles of the FunTV interview (and how most people over here were spelling it when I started lurking here), and it's force of habit now.

Given the spelling of Lilly Town, however, I do suspect that we're very probably all incorrect. I imagine she knows how to spell her own nickname, after all. :o

We're not going to go up to her, and attempt to grab her attention with a bunch of ways to spell "Lilly" on a piece of paper.

ah... how many times have threads turned into the lili vs lilly discussion. one of the great mysteries of this world, to be never solved.

the ripple effect can't be reversed. i use lili because all the hardcore people like you use it. it's too late to change.
