I'm working on another video project. I happened to notice something when Alizée sang J'ai pas vingt ans on Stars a domicile. In the first picture, it looks like Miriam has noticed certain parts of Alizée's outfit can be a little revealing, especially when viewed from angles not meant for the audience. A few frames later, you can see she's looking at her son to see if he's noticed and he looks a little mesmerized.

Man, I probably had my biggest lol in this year :p, I understand Alex, it is embarrasing when you are caught like that :D. Good eye Scruffs, I think I did notice Miriam looking at the dress, but never noticed Alex :D, I guess I was looking at what Alex was...

I wonder what would have been Alizée's response if she had somehow noticed it, " I got you there sweetie, * smiles at Alex and pinches his cheek*,
or " pervert ! *slap in the face*. :D

They all sneak one or more glances. I always loved this show, but once I became aware of this I actually found it difficult to pay total attention to Alizée during the performance. I couldn't help but to look at the others checking her out and it becomes distracting.

I always wondered if Miriam was slightly shocked  by what she likely saw (would have been hard to miss), and if her daughter's role model was slightly tinged in her eyes for awhile after this?

I also wondered if Flavie was warning the people backstage to watch the camera angles closely?

I'm with Lefty. What an uncomfortable and at the same time delightful situation for all on stage during Alizee's performance. It is distracting from this fans perspective also. This thread is hillarious. I always theorized that Alizee has the power to turn women lesbian and gay men straight lol. I think this is the proof I needed. ha ha ha! Scruffy you dog! See what you got started. No telling where this thread will lead and ultimately end. :)

I've tried all my life to overcome tens of thousands of years of genetics. I have mastered body within the constraints of civilized society, but am an absolute failure with eyes and mind. And the icing on the cake of failure is I don't seem to care, which I guess is a failure in and of itself...if I cared.

All that said, the illusion is better than knowing the trick, so I prefer Alizée as presented intended.

Who's asking you to apologize? It's refreshing to finally see some of the guys in here admit they think of Alizee sexually. I got so tired of hearing members say, 'Oh I could never think of her in that way.' or 'She is our goddess and to think sexual thoughts of her is a sin.' Puuuuleeeez!

It's not that I've been asked to apologize. I just wanted to offer a little encouragement to those guys out there that see Alizee as both a talent and an attractive woman. No need to be ashamed for finding her attractive : it's part of who and what we are, and - provided it's done with kindness and empathy - it is also a very healthy and normal way to feel.

In short : she's not our sister, guys. It's ok to ogle, as long as we're polite.

So men can't see or feel different ways about different women? We have to see all women as sex objects because that how we truly see women?

Which it don't mean I just see her as a " sexual object" (as said Srbski-kralj) or don't respect her. You can both respect someone, being attracted, being charmed AND aroused too ... don't you?

Sad but true Tiwaz.

Completely untrue. I *know* that I don't view all women as sex objects. In fact it's only a small minority that I think of this way. They have to be attractive (make that hot), roughly in my age bracket and not too bright or attractive on some other level. Alizée is obviously very attractive sexually but also on many other levels (she is also aesthetically pleasing in a more general way, she has brains, she is not a slut etc.) so I don't view her as a sex object. And if you can't get that through your head, rocket, and you really have this view of men as sex-crazed maniacs you have a very impoverished view of one half of mankind. You're just wrong.:(

Joke or not, I just think your argument doesn’t make sense (to me anyhow) when you find it hypocritical that men can put a woman, in this case Alizée, on a pedestal of purity, make her to a saint or whatever you want to call it. And in the next move they approach and give other women sexual proposals. (And by doing so you compare yourself to Alizée – might have been your intension what do I know and of course you have the right to do so).
“The saint” obviously becomes more of an idea or symbol than the other “normal” person you can contact and speak to.
However, that led to my conclusion – and you admitted;) - that you think all men actually see all women first and foremost as sex objects / on a sexual level. This is to me tragic and reflects the modern world’s rejection of the higher levels of beauty - and our appreciation of it. Instead we are reducing it, like everything else, to a materialistic level, only seeking the primitive low forms of fast satisfaction and pleasure. Like a glass of mass-produced coke compared to glass of a well-aged wine. The difference is almost absolute.
Im not offended in any way, I just want to point out that I don’t agree. :p

hahaha, its only natural.

though personally, i prefer her "cute" appeal over her sexiness.
that's what makes her unique to me anyways.

Rocket, I think all men (to one degree or another) are "horndogs" when it comes down to it. Different things brings it out in different people. ;)

MOST men, however, have been trained/indoctrinated/culturally conditioned (at least in the USA) to disguise those emotions/thoughts lest they be percieved as "dirty", "perverted" or "disgusting..." None of which sound like compliments. Seems like in many cultures there is a greater acceptance of attraction/sexual attraction than there is in the USA... Maybe is our repressive, Protestant cultural upbringing? (Spoken by a truely *lapsed* protestant...).

My *personall* distaste is aroused (see what I did there? ;) ) when someone posts something specific/specifically sexual or (admittedly - in my own eyes) demeaning...

Hell yes she's hot, and so are you. vOv I may be pushing 50... But I guarantee you I'm still totally human, and healthy! ;)

Two quick notes:

#1 - In the second picture from the OP, please notice that Alex's eyebrows are considerably higher than in the first picture.. :D

#2 - In La Isla Bonita, the absolutely most mesmerizing sight for me are her eyes.... I could fall into them and just drown...

Hope that clears it up!

Ed:cool:

P.S. - Guys, just FYI - it is NEVER cool to PM an unknown female (even if you know her via the interwebs) with a proposition... Just bad form...

Her eyes and that smile is what stole my soul so to speak, But her cuteness/sexiness is just a bonus lol.
