Just hearing Alizee sing Mungo Jerry is a bit of a mindbender for me. I remember that song from when I was a kid (yes, I'm that old), and I haven't heard it much since then. So when I hear Alizee, whom I just discovered recently, singing a song that conjures up memories of my childhood, it's like ... THE PAST AND THE PRESENT COLLIDE! Whoa! What a kick!

Hehe - I swear, she sang more songs in English at that school than she did in French! Ironically, she's more understandable at points than the original singer :-P

Chrelion: I can't remember the name of the guy a lot of these came from, but it was one of the other people at the school, who also has copies of the performances. As I recall, it's the guy who played the Lion in the "Wizard of Oz" scenes.

Yes. She went to a dance school starting at age 4. When she was 12, it turned in to a full blown performance school, and she studied dancing, singing, and acting.
