What? We don't have comments about this here? Maybe I missed it. Well, I don't know if or how much of this will be redone, but particularly for those who understand Spanish or French, it's done.

Homer's audio-visual biography of Alizée or as I like to call it, Homer's Alidyssey. It is a DVD with all of Alizée's appearances and some extra stuff. So far only vol.1 has been released by our Spanish friend Homer who has apparently been working on this for a few years. :p Well, it's nice to have a compilation in any case. Edgar93 is working on creating English subtitles and I would except that 1) I'm lazy, 2) I think he may already be done.

I can't get the megaupload links posted by Homer on the Alizee forum to work. The page never loads completely, then I.E. locks up.

Hey Roman, I found this posted somewhere. It appears to be the prologue to Homer's video with English subtitles. This may have been posted here somewhere, quite a while back, if memory serves me correctly. Regardless, I enjoyed watching this video and I thought others might too. I haven't donwloaded Homer's video yet from the link you gave, but is this part of it?

Yeah that's in it. That's the new video though. He did actually release the first part flying through the galaxy like in 2007.

And yes, I believe I too heard that the airline is out of business. But, you must admit, that's a pretty unique airplane. I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like that before.

Maybe try it again Scruffy. It is working fine for me. P.S. even though their "captcha" is in uppercase, you must type in lowercase. go figure

Oh really  They worked perfectly for me, the links were scrambled at the beginning but Homer fixed them, this are the right ones:

I believe somewhere on this site someone once posted the history of the plane. If I remember right, it was eventually sold to another company and repainted and used for a while, and eventually it was retired.

Edit: I found it. I didn't have the info quite right. This is what Cooney posted:

AOM was acquired by Air France, and is now a part of that. It no longer exists as a seperate entity.

The Alizée plane's tail number was F-GGMB. By late 2001, it had been painted white again.
The plane was sold in 2002, hopped airlines and registrations a couple times, and is currently in service with 1Time Airline, out of South Africa, since 2003. It now packs the tail number ZS-OPZ, and is bright red. I believe it is mostly used for the run from Cape Town of Johannesburg

Here is the thread: http://alizeeamerica.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3048&highlight=plane

This is one of the many reasons I miss Cooney.

i like her voice in her performances. though.. to me it doesn't sound very similar to current Alizee.

but still, its always cool to see what a star was like before they hit stardom!

Are you talking about in her dance school? (you weren't very specific, there's a lot of stuff on that DVD). Anyway, yeah I don't know. I always figured it was someone at the school who took that video. They were also very proud of Alizée when she became a big star all of a sudden.

Those school videos were first shared by some instructor from the class on a website he was making about their shows. I think it's offline now though.

I haven't had time to download this DVD yet, but I'm sure it's awesome! :)

I'm looking forward to the full download of this one. It's looks like it's very professional.
I recently bought a 7 DVD set from eBay. I must admit that the set is fantastic. It looks like it has every video, interview and TV performance that Alizee has ever done and the quality is fantastic. The price was very resonable as well.
The only problem is the sellers Menu system which is really terrible. It's very unresponsive. Overall though despite this it's a fantastic set.

Probably a decent idea for a new fan. It would take you years to get all that stuff otherwise or in any case, many hours of searching and downloading.

This is a link to the seller.
He dosen't have the DVD's for sale at the minute but if you contact him i'm sure he would be willing to oblige. He's a decent, friendly enough seller.
Be warned though. The menu system he uses is really really awful!!

alizeeamourtoujours

Sorry, the link gives my log in details, but if you do a seller search you'll find him. As far as i know his DVD's are region free which means they should (in theory) work worldwide.
If you have any trouble let me know and i will contact him on anyone's behalf.

Sorry about that. For some unknown reason the original link contained my own log in details!!

Here is a link to the seller.

http://shop.ebay.co.uk/merchant/alizeeamourtoujours_W0QQ_dmdZ1QQ_ipgZ50QQ_sopZ12?_ rdc=1

He has nothing for sale at the minute, so you have to click on his name and then the 'contact seller' button to send him a message.
