i know that she didnt write her album thats about to come out, or her 2 previous albums, but lets think wayyy into the future. Will she ever write her own music?

I would hope so, I mean she was still really young when she got scooped up into the Mylene machine and didn't really have much say. She was just young and excited to be singing. I mean I like her voice but think that as an artist she would garner a better response from her critics if she was writing her own lyrics. And now that she's getting older and has more stuff to write about I hope she starts doing so, but it's hard to tell because I heard she actually prefers dancing over singing.

How do you know that ?

I have only heard of rumors of collaborations with other artists. Nothing has exactly said who does what.

I'm pretty sure she will take at least part into the writing process. Maybe even writes half of the songs, with help of more experienced writers.

Yeah, personally I'm hoping that on the new album there will be some songs that she composed herself. That would be great.

that's a very good question nurvonic

I would hope so, I mean one of the reasons she decided to work independent of MF and LB is so that she could stretch her wings. . .so I think she will write the lyrics

I think a lot will depend on the success of her coming albums. If they do really good she would be willing to be adventerous and take more risks and her songs herself.

I'd be surprised if she writes songs completely by herself on the next album, but I hope and think it's possible that she'll co-write some.

i see alot you shy away from this question lol. i dont blame you, i cant even think of a good response. i think i even stumped brad

it just raises even more questions

how will her music sound if she writes and composes its? will there be lightyears difference from here earlier albums? Will Alizee sing one of her songs to me when she comes over to my house?

see? just more questions

I doubt if she writes her own lyrics they will be laced with double entendres as they have been. And, this is just a gut feeling, I really think they'll be more of a rock style. I just get that feeling, not really going off anything else on that.

In the end, we just don't know. And I'm anxiously awaiting the joy of finding out. ;)

Of course Alizee is going to attempt to write her own song. She is creative..question is can she also write music? Lyrics are one thing but can she create music?

If Alizee is talented enough to create tunes, she has my respect and I wont call her Baby Farmer anymore :p

I hope she comes out with a cd sometime this decade. Whether or not she wrote it :( If her husband can be putting stuff together, she definately can. She's like five, nay, ten times times better than him! Why are the record labels so phacking gay!

P.s. Don't mind me. I just really want to hear her again :p

Telling someone that he is lurking member is rude, isn't it? We first say this statement and then welcome him:D .

Btw, Welcome to posting fold Maareek.

Why is it rude? Someone who reads but doesn't post is a lurker. I used to be one. Mibir swore he'd always be one. Now maareek has joined our club. Welcome!

It's always been my belief that when you just join a community/forum you should keep a low profile and get a feel for what's going on rule wise and so forth. That means lurking for awhile. And I tend to read way more than I post on any forum (listen alot and say very little is the way I try to live ;p) anyway. So no offense taken, since pretty much everybody starts off as a lurker (or at least should, in my opinion).

Thanks guys, good to be here. :)

hell .. i am still a lurker on alizee-forum, I only have like 30 posts over there. The only reason I registered was to see if anyone would be offended if I made a website on this domain.

I'm not sure why I didnt register .. I always felt like I was to new of a fan or something .. (i didn't really discover alizee until late 2003 / early 2004) .. and I didn't have anything meaningful to contribute.

I'm fresh to this forum, but I think "lurking" is alright. I mean some people just don't have that much to say and besides the board is meant so that everyone can share ideas to whoever decides to read it.

I only discovered Alizee a week or so ago and on accident. As the geek I am I was playing world of warcraft and some1 sent me the link to who inspired some of the /dance emots lol.

Anyway I'm a big fan now and hope to get all her albums off amazon soon.

I went the opposite way. Discovered Alizée and then started WoW.

Welcome to the site, and I don't think lurking is bad gives you a chance to get to know the forum and not post something that was already posted. And besides isn't it better to say nothing and have people think your stupid than to open your mouth and remove all doubt (Simpson's).:D
And for me I'll always remember my first encounter with Alizée, waking up turning on the TV and seeing Moi Lolita for the first time when it enjoyed limited playing in Canada (that being the only time I ever saw it). Talk about a great way to start your day.
And I've always liked her l'Alizé costume, not that I don't like the new ones a lot, I guess I just really liked it when I first saw it and have always just liked it. Out of the new stuff I like the Ma Isla Bonita/ Ella elle l'a outfits, she has great abs really shows how much she must work at dancing, wonder if she'll get them back.
