You guys. Keep up the voting for Alizee on Twitter. I am actually going to do inside work with RCA. I have already sent our Twitter efforts to one of the Boss's.

RCA is just debating weather to bring her over. So this up's our chances. If you have anything else for me to say or send let me know and I will do my best!

So is that actual feedback you got from RCA? If so, that is very encouraging. That sound you just heard was a huge door opnening.

Good Job B.A.!

Yeah really great job! If RCA is debating wether to bring Alizee to the U.S. show them what a star she has been and become in Europe, Asia, and currently Latin America. I wish you the best of luck over there with RCA.

OK, just checked Alizee-Fanpage and:...http://www.alizee-fanpage.com/es/news/2009/8/07/sony-music-france-confirma-nuevo-album-en-octubre-2009, It reads that official new album comes out in October 09 and that she is with Universal Music and not anymore with RCA. So my guess that any negotiations with RCA and Alizee will be in vain, due to she is part of Universal Music, sorry Black Anthem, anyway we appreciate your work and effort

Thank you all. Tell me if there is anything else I can do to give us another boost!

Really. I am on RCA's website and it says otherwise. I think the new album is coming out under the contract with UNIVERSAL. Till then.....RCA.

Also it is to my understanding RCA is with Sony. Correct me if I am wrong.

Yeah your right Black Anthem until then I guess RCA will still be promoting Physchedelices, and it seems that this new album was produced by JIVE Epic (SONY) But go ahead if there could be some sort ofagreement between SONY and RCA that would be great!
The link ALizee moves with SONY:

This site hasn't been updated in almost a year, since RCA went out of business in France. It was a sub-label of Sony, so all the artists got shifted around to other Sony labels. Alizée is now with Jive/Epic like Jung said.

RCA is defunct in Europe, but still alive and kicking (http://www.rcarecords.com/) stateside. (And, interestingly, making an effort (http://twitter.com/rcamusic) to promote Adam Lambert in one of the Tweeterwall contests. :p)

No idea how that might affect the eventual distribution of an Alizée album here if it ever came to pass, though. Both labels are still under the Sony BMG umbrella, so who knows?

So Sony still has ownership? Well RCA is a huge label for Sony so I am keeping good hopes and will try to arrange something.

So are Jive and Epic Records, though. Or they could just release her under the "Sony Music" label like they did in Mexico.

Btw, no "BMG" anymore... they recently got rid of that!

...in France, which is all we really know for certain. Anything else about how a distribution deal might work in the States is purely uninformed speculation. :p

You make a good point. However, RCA remains a vital part of Sony and their artists. RCA can tell Sony that Alizee would be a good addition to the United States Sony Musical Team. Sony will then talk to Jive/Epic and (if she will make money) bring her over.

Now you are aware that in order for her to make such a profit that it catches the attention Sony would be thousands. My guess 50,000 fans in America that are willing to spend money on her. We need those 50,000 first.

So here is what we have to do.

1. I've brought up our Twitter effort to RCA.
2. RCA contacts Sony, says look how many fans we have.
3. Sony says, wow that's a lot. Bring her over IF she'll make money.
4. She gets a call "We want you in the USA"
5. She comes over and does a tour. IF the tour doesn't make money over a set amount she leaves.
6. However, let's say she does. New album is sold here as well. But IF that doesn't make money she won't perform anymore. I don't know after that.

Those are my thoughts. So comment away. See you in the morning.

That's how business works here in the U.S. Now the thing as you said do we have or can we get around 50,000 fans here in the U.S.?
I think we have alot of work to do XD

Mexico will (deservably) get a lot of the credit for this Twitter thing. In fact Sony Music Mexico (http://twitter.com/sonymusicmexico) has already tweeted about it.

Unfortunately that's our lot in life. No one hardly ever mentions the USA fans. However much or little we contribute to the cause, we just don't get any recognition. And to be honest, maybe there is just not enough of us to make a noteworthy contribution. We are overshadowed by what the Mexicans have accomplished. And they deserve a huge amount of credit for that.

It sure would be nice if we could increase our numbers and become a force that truly makes a measurable difference in Alizée's career.

Well maybe I underestimated her number of fans here. Do you think, if Sony were to allow her to come over, Sony would consider the number of fans in Mexico. I know that was confusing. What I mean is, if Sony were to bring her to America would they count on fans in Mexico to play a big part in sales? There we go.

So you see my point. Sony will only bring her here if she would create a large fan basis AND make money for Sony while she is here.

Also we have a huge role in this. I know where is our credit?!? But still...

You agree?
