Ah JamK, he's pretty talanted. Love his cartoon Alizée work.

Good work.

But to rain on the parade: I think the 3d Alizee is too tall, and she shouldn't look like Julie Budet, Alizee looks completely different. Because, no offense, Julie Budet in the picture above has a rather masculine jaw. I think the resemblence between them ends at the hair and the eye color.

That being said, I realize these things must be tough to make, so props.

That was really neat, and I thought the ending was a nice touch. Animation and 3d modeling is no walk in the park so big props.

well first of all, it wasn't me who made it.

second, I thought the back view of Alizée was pretty good but when her face comes up...... whoa....

Could it be her stunt double? Lilytown looks like its completely covered in snow! I think it would be cold in a mini skirt!

Good point of view, but I think that Lily could afford everything, and miniskirt while snows - no problem. Just like during making Mlle Juliette clip
And it isn't snow I believe:p, white color symbolizes innocence of Lilytowners and their love:p And 3D modeling is rather hard work and very time-absorbing. Full-colouring all buildings would take much time. But gray and white Lilytown still remains Lilytown.
YOU are forming Lilytown, YOU are Lilytown people:) All fans are Lilytowners.

The same guy also did a vid with the "lilly" character kicking butts in resident evil - in a corset...! Kinda funny, and kinda the opposite of the peaceful, happy "Lillytown" vid. Whoever JAMK is, the guy's got talent!

He does some pretty decent Manga-style Alizées as well. ;)

Well picturizing someone in 2D is one thing, you only got 2 dimensions to worry about. With 3D you spend hours moving polygons to make that face look slightly well and then try to skew the character a couple degrees and voila, a completly different face appears and you have to start all over again.

You know when your photo is taken of you or someone else from a different angle and you almost can't recognize who it is. A bit like moving a rubiks cube, you got one side completed but the other ones are still messed up. It would take a great deal of effort and time if he hand made that character himself, which I actually doubt.
Nontheless great stuff.

je ne l'aime pas autant: cadrage bizare, faux lens flare.
