Ever heard of doing a remix of a teaser? Yeah, well I'm just stupid enough to do it! I am working on an instrumental project right now and to my surprise, this teaser sounds similar to some of what I'm working on. So I couldn't resist just jamming along with this.

Hah, oh man that is unbelievably awesome! I bet some people are going to mistake this for the real thing online. The question is, can Alizée live up to it? :)

Well, that was a concern of mine, that's why I put "remix" in the title. It was not intended to represent the new album, just as any remix isn't. I don't know about being better or worse, especially having not heard the whole thing, but I wouldn't want anyone to expect it to sound one way when it ends up being another.

But now you got me worried. Maybe I'll delete it later today after some of the AAm people have had a chance to hear it.

I think it's too great for that! I hope Alizée eventually gets to hear it - similar to her work or not, fanart of this quality's a real compliment. We just have to keep an eye out to remind people what it really is. And hey, even if it does cause some commotion, at least that's more buzz for the upcoming album! ;)

Btw, the first few added synth beats of this make me think of Alex and his three droogs in the Korova Milkbar, getting ready for a bit of the old ultra-violence... One of the best film scores ever. :)
