I often noticed there was something at the top center front of that beautiful white dress Alizée wore at the begining of En Concert. I finally decided to take a closer look and found out it looks like a Z. Well I thought this must be some designers logo but at the same time I thought this looked an awful lot like the sign of Zorro! I decided to look up Zorro in Wikipedia. I found the history of this story and I posted it below, involves him romancing Lolita Pulido.
Lolita!
It all makes sense now. This explains her trips to Mexico. I did some more research and found out there's a very difficult to find website in Australia called Aborigipedia that says the Aborigines have a name for a trade wind that blows through parts of Africa and the Carbbean. They call it a Pulido! This is the same wind the French call an Alize. It was right in front of us all the time. How could we have missed it?

But Jung, you bubble-burster, they worked so hard on this one! It's obviously a "Z" for Zorro!

If you'll just admit it's a "Z", I'll post a pic of my sawzall...

It's an "AC" for André Courrèges, the fashion designer who did her costumes.

But still, a pretty funky coincidence there with the "Lolita Pulido" thing! :)

I wanted to post two pictures in which it is clear that it is not a "Z", however the forum scaled my screenshots down and I'm too lazy to upload right now so...

Some Anglophones might say Alizée is the ultimate fox. This slang word has a socially pleasant connotation in contemporary US English, meaning a beautiful, attractive, not unsexy person (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/fox). It translates to the Spanish zorro. Indeed, during the TV program Une Heure Avec Alizée (http://www.mf-international.com/viewtopic.php?p=6480&sid=a77a5d8fb3f147e338e3a8b917a88762#6480) on Fun TV in 2003, the host, Lucas, said to Alizée "Without doubt, you're a first class vixen!" (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/vixen#Noun), to which she replied "I know!"

(Aside: Unfortunately, I think the word fox may also be translated by the Spanish word zorra, which casts the same disrepute as its French equivalent salope, or in English, slut (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/slut).)

Since we speak English here, we will ALWAYS translate the English word fox to Spanish as zorro! And therefore it is surely appropriate to celebrate Alizée as Zorro-like swashbuckler, une des Soeurs Corses, depicted in the graphic below.

it is rather odd that you guys chose zorro. it does mean fox in spanish but it relates to being sly and crafty rather than hot and sexy. but there is one interesting clue that connects alizee to zorro. zorro (aka) don diego vega or don diego de la vega was in love with lolita pulido, a noblewoman. can you say irony? :p

In which clip are you talking about? I just watched the video and didn't see any reference to it. Was it in the movie? I saw it a couple of years ago and can't remember a clip of Zorro in it.

Holy Sh*t! André Courrèges designed her clothes!!
I always thought it was AJ on her dress(not a Z, *snigger* at Scruffy:p)
Anyway, I was all excited 'cause André happens to be the guy who invented the miniskirts:D, and his designs were considered revolutionary in the 60's.
